Coincidentally, my college bf was from Monroe. He lived on a golf course though. I can’t imagine there’s more than one country club in Monroe.
One of my best friends at LSU was also from Monroe. Fun people up that way.

I’d love to hear What vanilla political speak you’d prefer that describes the ridiculous nature of the situation.. or tell us how you feel this is all above board and warranted..
I know I’m in the minority but I don’t believe every petty political spat requires tweeted gasoline.

Im probably one of the few posters on this board that loves New Orleans.
I think it’s fantastic news that these dumbasses were emboldened enough to go after the sitting AG who was never going to face any real issues. I hope she comes after them with full wrath. Democrat politicians have continuously tried to damage one of my favorite cities in the world and it’s time to put these morons in their place.
This could be great for people who believe in the importance of New Orleans.

Your attitude would’ve been more appropriate 50 years ago when New Orleans mattered nationally. If not for the Benson family’s benevolence, New Orleans would be battling Savannah and Charleston for relevance.
As it stands today, New Orleans is on a more even playing field with Baton Rouge than other major cities.

It’s people like you, with this attitude, who make people like me really dislike New Orleanians.
Cubbies is even worse. She’s not even a native New Orleanian, she’s a lunatic leftist carpetbagger from the Pacific Northwest. Arrogance and narcissism is a trait in leftist retards like that cum dumpster. I hate NOLA transplants who think they are trying to save us from ourselves

Have you ever noticed that it’s free to go to the northshore but costs money to get to New Orleans?
Yes, a midwit joke about a decision on tolls intended to prevent traffic backup in Metairie means New Orleans deserves priority over the rest of the state.

No one is traveling to Louisiana to visit Mandeville
Why should they? Mandeville isn't a tourist town.
Talking to clients and coworkers from out of state, they look at New Orleans the same way you'd look at a Caribbean vacation spot with the same dangers, except it's in the US.
That commuter traffic across the causeway gets smaller and smaller every year, yet people are still moving to the northshore (insert your favorite we're full joke).

People in New Orleans complain about the State exerting authority over the people of New Orleans. The rest of the State punches air that New Orleans exists at all.
No, just an amusing sense of self importance about the city that isn't deserved at all.
With competent leadership, it could be so much better, and that's what's frustrating, because it is a fun and historic city.

I love New Orleans too, I was born and raised there. That’s why it pisses me off to see corrupt democrats ruin the place and the Katrina carpetbaggers enable the decline.

I’d say wishing into existence an indictment on the State Attorney General warrants a bit of gasoline..
These are criminal charges not some petty civil squabbles.

Speaking of conflicts, is the State of Louisiana paying for the defense of the accused using taxpayer money??!” White added, the filing says.
My tax dollars going to her legal defense to defend against this witch hunt by a bunch of pissed off libs in Nola is a lot better use of them than what the folks in BR typically waste my tax dollars on.
