re: Want to start processing my own deer and looking for quality electric meat grinder.

Love my LEM Big Bite 12. I don’t have the dual grind though. Don’t need it. A very well made machine. Probably 7+ yrs old and hundreds of pounds of venison, beef, pork and chicken bones. Still on the same blade.

Bacon egg and cheese biscuits are very good. Paid $9 for a chopped brisket sandwich yesterday in Baytown Buckees and have decided that’s now more than I want to pay so will try that Cheesesteak Burrito if reasonably priced. They get all my gas money.

Can you give us some bona fide sources for what you say? And if it isn’t political but biological based and is is fair and balanced we will be happy to educate ourselves.

Would then a range of cookbook roux to stick ratios over 6-1 and up to 20-1 be much thicker? Or were you referring to stick to roux rations?

Very altruistic of you. I will gladly pay and American to do it. Welfare recipients now have a work requirement thanks to Trump

Too many people costing taxpayers money without paying taxes themselves. Has NOLA ever not been corrupt?
re: Single or double axle for SXS trailer
Posted by Royalfishing on 11/25/25 at 4:37 pm to WhiskeyThrottle
I have a 20’ double axle 10k trailer so this is a single purpose trailer. I calculate though a $40 increase in gas consumption per trip with a similar single axle trailer with the 4 foot lift gate. A double axle would be even worse. Trying to find one with a dovetail and small gate. Or no gate.

This is kind of what made up my mind. I’ve pulled two single axle boat trailers for 30+ yrs and never had a flat or bearing issue. . Could be my time to have a problem or could be I maintain my tires and pressure and wheel bearings right.

President Trump’s policies are working to make Americans’ Thanksgiving more affordable this year, from their commute to the dinner table,” Leavitt said, touting falling gas prices.
“Nearly 100 million Americans are expected to drive next week to spend time with loved ones for the holiday, and thanks to President Trump’s drill baby drill agenda, the national average price of a gallon of gas on Thanksgiving Day is projected to be at the cheapest price since the COVID pandemic in 2021,” she said.
Notably, gas prices reached an all-time record high with an average of $5.016 for regular unleaded on June 14, 2022, during former President Joe Biden’s term. As of Monday, the national average sat at $3.069.
Leavitt also cited data from the American Farm Bureau Federation’s annual survey, stating that, “Cooking Thanksgiving dinner will also cost less this year than it did last year, and is down about five percent overall.”

True. My first and oldest boat is pulled on a single axle trailer and has never had an issue and is requires sooo little maintenance.
I had an older boat repair and sales owner tell me that buying radial tires was useless and to buy real trailer tires and keep them pressured.

I noticed that the last time I towed a 12 foot single axle. Might see if any sell with fold in ramps for long trips.

Any thoughts on this. Honda pioneer 700. 8 hr haul each way so looking for trouble free hauling with good gas mileage. Does double axle perform that much better ti justify the weight and need to deal with two more tires, axles, rims and bearings given both give one spare?

I own a camp at The Point and have a covered boat storage with locked gate and electricity. About a mile from the Quintana launch. Haven’t rented it out but might consider depending on details.

Well I bought a Honda Pioneer 700 Forest. Really like it. It has the paddle shift so you get automatic or manual options. Id recommend Get Gear Motorsports out of Ridgeland MS.Big operation. Great bunch. Customer friendly. My dealer in Lafayette wouldn’t discount a nickel despite being a 20+ year customer so I drove to Jackson and bought it and saved enough to pay for a 12’ double axle trailer plus some.
