Lindsey Graham was an awful person. I won't celebrate his death but I'm glad he no longer holds any power in this country. Sadly, some other warmonger will take his place.

Good for Lindsey Graham to state the obvious. Islam is the problem.
What happened to Tucker? Has he converted to Islam? No longer based.

You’re melting down all over the place.
He’s been quite active for someone who just “started” posting.

I will also admit I laughed at Cenk’s twitter post.

Going tomorrow for catherization with a good chance of 2 stents, pretty mild procedure, correct?
Trust me when I tell you you need to do this.... Whoever the cardiologist is that's doing your catheterization, tell them, pre-procedure, that you want them to use ultrasound to measure the vessel before they put the stent in. I had a friend that let a complete idiot here in Baton Rouge, who was 82 years old at the time, and should never have been practicing medicine, put in a stent that was too small for the vessel being opened...The next cardiologist she went to for a second opinion, when she was having as bad of symptoms as before, said he wouldn't have put that size stent in a pediatric patient, much less a full grown adult. The second cardiologist said that in Atlanta, where he came from, it was common practice to use ultrasound to measure the vessel before placing the stent, but in Baton Rouge the doctors did not want to take the extra 5 to 10 minutes so they could do more procedures and fit more procedures in in a day. Look your doctor in the eye and say, I want you to make sure the stent is the right size, and I need you to use ultrasound to measure. Once they put a stent in, there's no taking it back out, so it's not too much to ask.

He certainly sold us out in terms of foreign policy. But he did get kavanaugh through. And for that I am grateful.

A brief and sudden illness? Wtf was it? He was 71.
There are many things that are frequently labeled a "sudden illness." Could have been cardiac arrest, stroke, aneurism...Any number of things that are frequently missed in an annual check-up. The main take-away from this is that life is much shorter than most of us think it will be, and tomorrow is promised to no one.

Not reading through the full thread but has the governor of SC made any noise about a temporary placeholder for him?
Posted on 7/12/26 at 3:39 pm to teke184
The Governor of South Carolina has the authority to appoint a temporary interim senator to serve until January 3 following the next general election. The governor has broad discretion and is not legally required to appoint someone from the same political party as the departing senator. No statement has been released as yet.

People die of heart attacks or aneurysms commonly. But the non-descript sudden and brief illness opens up the door to wide speculation. And people need to stop pretending that the Russians don’t assassinate their own people through creative ways. Not saying that’s what happened, I would call it very unlikely, but to dismiss the idea completely isn’t paying attention.

There are very few influential neocon boomers of the old guard that I hated more. Only McCain/Cheney and Dubya exceed him but he outlasted all of them in terms of his influence and two of those are gone.

Yes the world keeps spinning.
People are shopping today that have no idea or care who Lindsey Graham is or was..

As another poster or two pointed out, when did Graham ever talk about South Carolina?
It seemed like every trip or network appearance was either talking about events abroad or he would go into campaign mode and tell Sensei's audience he needed funding to fight off the Dems.
