But some on this board said there were no reasons to help Ukraine!

US turns to Ukrainian counter-drone tech after Iran attacks, sources say

We should be orchestrating the introduction of Ukraine drones into Iran's uprising. Many gamers already have the skill sets needed and they will know exactly who the enemy is and where they are. Attack drones are far safer and more effective for the operator than any other weapon. They can not only find their target, they can identify them up close in HD video.

Yikes! 1.2 million Russian males and 500,000 Ukrainian males gone. This war needs to end so the beautiful women of Russia and Ukraine are once again available to the world.

That's just WW1 stuff. Nobody can really maneuver and are just stationary targets for drones and missiles.

Japan has changed it's internal rules that bound it to pacifism and did not allow it to participate in the international arms market... which I never thought about, how the world's leading electronics producer in the 80s and 90s was not involved in any of that... but now they are...

Japan has specialized in high purity chemicals required to make chips and more. About 15 years ago a fire at a plant there shutdown almost the entire world's supply. I forget which chemical it was.

Fuel is a critical necessity but is very hard to hide from attack. In this war it is becoming impossible.

Today is Lenin's birthday. So to celebrate, we have these videos.

For small-minded Russians, nothing pisses them off like this. Form over substance every time, that's the communist way.

Ukrainian drone attacks are scaling up significantly in destructive ability and frequency, and Russia's ability to stop these attacks is steadily decreasing.

The strategic implications of this are obvious.

US pilots flying over Iran are safer due to Ukrainian destruction of Russian air defense systems. Russia needs every one they can make. The only new AD they can provide Iran with are MANPADS.

Ukrainian destruction of Russian air defense systems over the past several months, showing a clear increase in the pace of Russian AD degradation

Yes, the Russian AD systems were designed for a 20th Century war with 20th Century aircraft. They are still effective against cruise missiles and some tactical missiles, but cannot detect drones. Even the larger long range Liutyi drones fly unmolested into targets 1200 to 1500km into russia.

And increasingly, these targets are the AD units. Once these are taken out, a clear pathway is made for the missiles.

Presently, the only effective defense against Ukrainian drones are the AA machine guns. Welcome to 1943.

The Ukrainian online propaganda is getting to be as bad as Russia's online propaganda. I cannot believe that whomever created this piece of fiction actually thought anyone would believe it.

Actually Ukraine has been advancing little bit by little bit over the last 2 and half months. They are employing unmanned ground vehicles with machine guns mounted on them. That has freed up some manpower. I saw a post last month about them using one with a minigun on it and it was run by AI. That is frightening as hell because it sounds like the start of Skynet to me.

There has to be pressure when 1/3 of Russia's businesses are losing money including energy companies.

Uh huh… uh huh…..

Anywho

The EU just approved a new loan package for Ukraine. It’s my understanding that the Ukraine needs about $5B a month function, so this is, conservatively, a year and a half worth of money.

EU approves massive loan and 20th sanctions package against Russia

This comes on the heels of a member of the Russian Duma stating that he believed that the Russian economy is going to collapse in the fall.

So, yeah….

Not looking so good for Russia…..
