I am sure it will for some BS reason but you are still trying to cite a federal election law and have no idea if it applies to state primaries.

I think it does I just had to put my eyes on a case involving a party primary.

BTW, now that we know the early voting dates are next week, who are you alleging has already voted?

People have already cast absentee ballots.

Perhaps... but many of us are hopeful Alabama will follow Landry's leadership. Sometimes, that's all it takes.

They are null & void. But isn't it great that there's plenty of time for those voters to re-submit their absentee ballots under constitutional law with legal maps?

I wonder if there are any betting sites that are taking bets on whether Shelley Dick will miraculously get assigned the Democrat case to issue in injunction against Jeff Landry doing this?

There is absolutely zero f*cking doubt that the politicized piece of filth Dick would issue an injunction immediately (regardless of the merits of the case) to try to run out the clock. I wouldn’t doubt her issuing an injunction sua sponta claiming that she somehow has jurisdiction because of the Callais case.

Even if the current map was used wouldn't the election as well as the result be unconstitutional requiring a new election anyway?

She can, but she's really a democrat and doesn't want to.

Shouldn't impact senate election (that one is statewide)

What other choice does he have to make? Hold elections for illegal districts?
