Did the lease specify no firearms?

If not, her 2nd Amendment rights are being violated.

Because you could have kids over or whatever that might get into them. This should absolutely be disclosed to all that live in the house.

I agree, it is his property & he makes the rules. As long as it was stated in the lease... If not, I think she has a case.

Ah yes, us gun owners know this happens frequently. I've had two different guns "just go off on their own" this past week. ?

I've got mine trained pretty well, now they just go off on 4th of July or New Years when the booms from fireworks make them jumpy

Zac, how many times must I say that I oppose all public accommodation laws? I’ve probably said it 100 times. Need I say it another hundred?

Are "small government conservatives" against leases? Are they against landlords being made to honor those leases?

If there was a "no firearms" clause in the lease, then she is screwed and I have no issues. If there was not, then the landlord and roommates are in the wrong.

Ah... such tolerance. So open-minded.

Now back to reality... tell us again who is inciteful, prejudiced, and discriminating against those with differing views, opinions, and lifestyles.

1. Can a landlord legally ban lawful gun ownership by renter?

2. Did the landlord put this requirement in writting?

Lemme get this straight, Hank. Is it OK for landlords to exercise their private property rights to exclude any tenant who is black, Hispanic, fat, gay or has red hair? If that's not OK with you, why do you insist that it's OK to exclude a tenant with a legal gun? Don't you feel really stupid?

I want to hear Hank’s BS argument that it isn’t the same thing because you choose to own a handgun and not your race, sexuality etc....

So let's talk about your frat bro, the abuser....

You will be waiting a VERY long time. As I have said 100 or more times, I oppose public accommodation laws.

You “conservative” lackwits simply cannot grasp the difference between liberals and libertarians, can you? Odd, since you and the liberals share the same authoritarian tendencies.

something tells me you're a moron. Constitution doesn't say anything about "properly secured". A properly secured gun is hard to use to defend yourself.

Dollars to donuts that the landlord did not follow the legal eviction process, including proper notice and the right to appeal before a court of law.

Jim Acosta is entitled to due process, and so is this lil' gal.

I wonder if fear is going to take her body over when she is standing in front of the judge having to explain why she violated this girl's rights. Which she clearly did, maybe criminally so.

If there was no gun clause in the lease and due process was not granted, Mr SJW Landlord is going to be writing a big fat check.
