It appears that the young lady has a bunch of SJW roommates who like to snoop through others' stuff and raise hell if they find anything they disagree with.
I agree. THIS is the real issue with her roommates. She was conservative, a Trump supporter, and for those reasons, her SJW roommates wanted her out of the apartment. The guns were just the excuse to get rid of her. Her mistake was moving in with a bunch of SJW idiots in the first place. She needs to get out of that liberal wasteland and continue her education somewhere that exhibits at least a modicum of common sense.

No lease can strip you of your CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHTS!
Imagine if the lease said, "No Christianity practiced". Same thing!
Oh good lord.

Except the courts have already decided that landlords' private propery rights are subject to modification
As I said above, form leases usually contain a catch-all phrase that landlords use in these situations. Sometimes they win and sometimes not. In fact, they usually do not even go to court, because the dollars do not justify the litigation. The tenant just moves to avoid the hassle.

The Second Amendment is a restriction on what the federal government can do, not a private property owner. The landlord quite reasonably decided it was better to evict one than the whole lot of them.
