that part

my guess is he will find himself opposed to every moneyed interest in the financial sector and be voted out of office in four years having accomplished none of his stated policy goals

That's my guess also. It will be a good lesson.

The idea that these people have any actual beliefs or convictions of their own is comical.

They would be to the right of Alex Jones if they thought it would give them unfettered power.

I don't see any evidence that he's a communist.

He is an admitted Muslim Socialist, so a practitioner/believer in two ideologies whose most prominent product is misery and suffering.

The left has repeatedly voted for failed policies for over a century. I wish it worked like you said, but it doesn't.

I can't wait to watch NY crash and burn.

I can't wait for the usual sociopaths to then blame the people that opposed it.

I think it will be more of a lesson to young independents about why socialism doesn't work. Just like we can point to California and its failures. "Think you want Democrats...look what they've done to California and our major cities. Contrast that with the Golden Age under President Trump."

My main point (which I have said too many times...and won't anymore) is that Mamdani seems to be the overwhelming choice of New York voters. He's a dynamic politician and has run on putting New York first.

All the arrempted demonization of him by people who aren't New York voters is just making him stronger with that electorate.

If she believes all this, where does she live, why does she get a pay check? Has she turned all investments over to the state? I could go on but my break is over….

100% not attempting to be mean spirited here but her face looks much like a Halloween mask. Very perplexing.

it's going to be fun watching him try to pay for all the stuff he's promised when the folks who pay the most taxes flee that city. It's going to be highly entertaining.

The Governor of NY endorsing this Muslim socialist is a new all time low for New York and a black eye on the USA.

Who would think this is even possible especially after 911.

What are these lunatics thinking?

Yeah, it will be "interesting" when he has blown through every penny NYC has on "programs" and crime goes through the roof when he guts the NYPD. it will be interesting for sure.
