Can someone explain to me why Kiffin is always such a hot commodity? What has he ever actually won?
He just seems like another Sark to me. Mostly all hat and no cattle.

What am I missing on him?

This. It’s the reason I don’t even follow baseball recruiting because so many of them never make it to campus.

Ags. Kirby owns sark. There's a 99.99% chance we lose in Athens.

Unless half of Georgia's team comes down with a mystery illness 10 min before the game starts.

Booger McFarland said Texas A&M had the most impressive road win of any team in the country because they beat Notre Dame in South Bend.

Two loss Notre Dame.

Guess beating #5 ranked Georgia in Athens doesn't mean much these days.

It's Booger McFarland. He probably needs help tying his shoes in the morning.

Minnesota, Wisconsin, Michigan

That is a serious drinking culture up there

Man that's no lie. When I was a graduate student at Texas I spent a summer in Ann Arbor on a joint research project with the University of Michigan. I was pretty shocked that they were able to accomplish anything with the amount of drinking those students did almost every night.

Texas wins out

Not happening. The SECCG will be 2 of Bama, Ole Miss, Georgia, and A&M.

I still think we beat the Ags but no way we win @ georgia. Kirby owns Sark.

Paywalled but TT is certainly improving all around and it’s nice to have a billionaire help with it. It’s not good for CFB however because you become a league of haves/havenots

We already had that prior to NIL. this just changes who the "haves" are.
I would take him in a heartbeat over Sark as long as he embraced NIL. Guy has rings. There aren't many who do.

Lol that looks a lot like Taysom Hill against our defense in 2013

How did a crappy Texas team get players of the week?

Our crappy coach finally had a good offensive strategy.

don't worry though, I'm sure all the good will he created will go straight to the crapper @ georgia :rotflmao:

Texas needs a head coach. This is why Sark must go.

he will, eventually. It's just going to take time before the wheels come off. If he doesn't voluntarily move on I think '27 will be his last season here unless he goes .500 or worse next season.

I seem to recall a certain Texas poster talking about “an embarrassment of riches” when it came to recruiting and specifically referring Manning at QB. Did an entire thread about it.

it sure wasn't me. I tried to warn our fan base that we'd have these issues this season because our head coach isn't really a head coach.

I'm not mad, I'm just reminding the op that talk like this quite often comes back to bite you. We'll probably have no shot at the playoffs when that game comes around so we'll have nothing to lose.
it's going to be funny when Arch beats the Ags. This kind of trash talk always comes back to bite them.

I think Sark is a terrible offensive coach but that won't matter. Arch is going to win that one.

Blue Blood doesn't just count for the last decade or two. Not only is Oklahoma a blue blood, they are a mount rushmore program. Top 4 for sure.

frick ou, but credit where credit is due.

Cowardly response. Move on. You are nothing but a broke troll and a gaping pussy.
Ignore me unless you find your spine and want to bet.

"you don't have the money" :rotflmao:

No one is buying that you nutless wonder. You are the one with no money lmao.

and here you are again. Following me around like a cuck.

I'm still willing to bet you $5000 sark won't win the sec or title. Why don't you stop being a coward and bet me?

if not then ignore me. I don't engage with pussies.

Meh
. Meh? That was a great atmosphere and exactly why I was thrilled to join this conference. No other conference can match the passion and excitement of football like the sec.
Both Texas and Oklahoma have work to do to catch up when it comes to game day experience.

Chatgpt says:

Alabama
18 claimed national titles, Bear Bryant & Nick Saban eras, dynasty status in multiple eras.
Ohio State
Consistent top-10 finishes for decades, 8 national titles, massive national brand.
Notre Dame
11 national titles, unmatched historical significance, iconic brand even without a conference.
Michigan
All-time wins leader, multiple titles, massive stadium and fanbase, prestige from early dominance.
Oklahoma
7 national titles, longest winning streak in CFB history, elite across multiple decades.
USC
11 national titles, multiple Heisman winners, West Coast dominance, Hollywood mystique.
Texas
Huge brand, national titles, money, and recruiting base — even with modern inconsistency.

Personally I don’t care. It doesn’t guarantee success. It’s just a topic to debate.
