I've known toddlers who didn't cry as much as NFLSU.
any sport? Eddie Reese at Texas has 15 national championships. That's pretty hard to beat.
If we are talking about sports that people care about, that's another list.

re: Which Athletic Programs Are Run By Boosters?

For example. Alabama used to be run by boosters. Primarily Paul Bryant, Jr; but there were others (see the Means debacle). That ended with Nick Saban, and it doesn’t appear to have returned yet.
Auburn is clearly run by boosters, primarily Yella Wood. LSU has become a Cane’s franchise. Florida has the Disney Gators. Clearly the two Texas schools have the oil tycoons pulling strings. What other programs are beholden to boosters and who are they?
it's not nearly as bad as it was when mack and dodds were running the program. CDC has a much tighter grip on the AD. I'm sure he gets a lot of unwanted feedback from the billionaires. Especially with NIL money needed.
wow this is so much better than winning titles

I agree. Arch wasn't ready last year, and the Oline lacked experience. Both will be improved this upcoming season. I don't shite all over Sark like a few Texas posters here do. But if he doesn't at least get Texas to the NC game this year, injuries aside, I'll doubt he ever will.
He won’t. It’s best to just accept it now.
He’s the same head coach he was at Washington and USC. He just has better players here. A few years breathing saban’s air didn’t automatically turn him into a championship level coach.

not surprising. Even a lot of Texas fans have no interest in Texas basketball.
Baseball, however, can't get here soon enough.

Texas has talent everywhere. If they don’t make the playoffs again, with all that bought talent, there are coaching issues that have to be addressed.
We may make the playoffs but aren't going to do anything once there. We have coaching issues at the top spot and no amount of bought players will fix that issue between sark's ears.

I'm concerned that since stark won't budge to give up play calling duty it might affect the offense and red zone efficiency
2.High expections
With all the new talent the team got Im scared that any sort less than semifinal is a huge failure and media backlash
3.Ol
Nothing wrong I think ol might perform better but in the last two years it has kinda be disappointing of field performance and getting crazy amount of sacks and this uears does not change would honestly suck.
4.Arch manning
If the qb does not have at least bare minimum decent season with all the weapons he has it going to be a huge coaching failure on sark part and alot of trolling on my :(
5.Unrelated to the question
Is my Grammer really that bad?
You are either really bad at alt trolling or a moron. I'm not sure which is worse.

Yep 95 Nebraska is the goat and it’s not close. These youngsters and their recency bias have no clue how dominant that team was.

Texas sign sterling So with have sterling(5th year),ryan, emmet, cam coleman Ok ok i got bit over my head. Let me rephrase that I think our wr room might make texas better and help arch manning progression.
For anyone struggling with his grammar, like I am, I ran it through a translator.
“ Following preliminary analysis of Texas’ roster composition, with particular emphasis on the continued presence of Sterling (Year 5) alongside the emergent variables Ryan, Emmett, and Cam Coleman, the author experienced a brief episode of analytical overconfidence. Upon recalibration of the hypothesis, the refined conclusion is as follows: the collective efficiency and depth of the wide receiver cohort may serve as a statistically significant enhancement to overall team performance and function as a developmental accelerator for the Arch Manning quarterback model.”

You hate to see it. You really do.
Such a sad display. Pathetic really.
Maybe if you buy someone’s coach it would be better.
Yall gonna make the tournament? It’s looking pretty iffy.
I have zero give a frick about basketball but I'm happy for you at least. You seem to care a great deal. A hell of a lot more than I do for sure
Come at me when we lose a baseball series. That's something I care about.

Don’t buy the sark snake oil. We will go 9-3 or 8-4 next season.

I disagree with your assessment that an "assumption" you deem "pretty safe" is valid given there is no evidence of alcohol shown in the video, just a girl wiping out on a snow-covered hill. Based on what you are saying, everytime a person suffers any kind of slip or fall "alcohol was involved." Seems like a stretch to me. Hell, it is more likely alcohol was involved when you made your post.
If you take the stuff you read here seriously, you should seek therapy.
quote:
As true as that statement may be, what led you to post that here as there is no evidence from the video that alcohol was involved.
While it’s just an assumption, I think it’s a pretty safe one in this case.

Is there anyone here more obsessed with race than this insecure little man?

They weren't "bad", but their overall performance wasn't elite - even with star players on it. They were 31st nationally in scoring defense and 31st in total defense. As far as "never trailing" - that's at least as much on the offense. Scoring fast and often definitely meant the defense only needed a few stops to win. You gave up 37 or more points 4 times that year; suffice it to say, if your offense had been even slightly less prolific (but still amazing), that team loses at least 3 games. But it WAS that prolific, so they did. But not because of their defense.
Bingo. Our terrible texas team had over 500 yards of offense against that team.
re: Indiana or 2019 LSU?
Posted by hookem33 on 1/23/26 at 11:00 am to Turkeyneck81
actually 2025 Indiana vs 1995 Nebraska is a better comparison for "greatest team of all time". There is no question 95 nebraska was more dominant than 2019 LSU and are the goat.
Nebraska ‘95
Points Per Game: ~53.2 (576 total)
Points Allowed: ~14.5 per game
Avg. Margin of Victory: ~38.7 points
Never had a game closer than 14 points.
LSU ‘19
Points Per Game: ~48.4 (726 total)
Points Allowed: ~21.8 per game
Avg. Margin of Victory: ~26.6 points
Experienced a few closer games (e.g., 3-point win).

Cig is a great coach but no way he's earned the top spot over Kirby yet. He needs another title.

We are going to have to play LSU at Death Valley and, with all the new talent LSU added through the TP and the new high-power offense LSU is installing and Lsu Dc returning, which features a top-20 defense, I'm low-key scared right now.
lmao I haven't watched a longhorn basketball game since TJ ford and the final 4.
When does baseball start?

Sark is good for one or two great game plans a year. Maybe this will be one of them.

Makes we want to throw up saying it, but Texas.
It’ll be shocking how much they spend over the next few years to get it done.
Maybe with a different coach, but it's not happening with Sark. He can occasionally win big games but he'll never be able to string 3-4 together in a row to win it all.
After next season let's see who the new coach is before making any predictions.
My guess would be Georgia. They are the top dog until someone knocks them off. They just need to avoid that bye next year.

a better comparison is Indiana vs the 95 Huskers since they were the previous goat. Indiana has an argument now.

Ah, yes. Resorting to women’s sports to flex. Couldn’t happen to a better fanbase.
I seem to recall a lot of Aggie posts about a volleyball championship. Hypocrisy much?
That being said, basketball, both men and women’s, is about as interesting as watching paint dry.

Name one Longhorn who thinks Sean Miller was a good hire and that this team is good....
I can’t believe anyone cares about basketball. I am ready for baseball season.
Because most of these players are chasing money and couldn’t care less about the university, History, status, etc mean nothing to them, nor does loyalty.
I hate it but that’s the new reality.
