The 19 inch ballots couldn't be read by the tabulators. there was no other way for it to happen aside from intentionally.
What about the claim the print file could have been set to “fit to page.” That. Could be done without knowing it would make a difference. Did he address that?

Yes. I believe he said only a few people had that access and would have had to manually set it that way.
He said more on it. It's back in this thread somewhere.

quote:IIRC, that was not a claim, it was a hypothetical extrapolating a xerox machine to a vote machine printer. It is why the witness continually refused to answer. It sounded like the contention was, in reality, there is no print-to-fit setting in the machine.

Wasn't the woman who testified yesterday basically going off a voicemail?

I thought that, or that if you changed to that setting you'd have to know what you were doing, and be doing it purposefully. He said something about needing admin access.

No the woman yesterday was like a policeman who testified about the steps she took in investigating chain of custody.
One of which was communication she had with Maricopa County that included correspondence in the form of voicemails received from a Betty, diminutive of Elizabeth- of which 3 were employed.
Az’s investigator by contrast communicated with no one and said conspiracy theory

After the State rests, what happens? How long for the judge to make his decision?

Yes. The opposing witness posed a hypothetical (with no evidence that it actually happened) and he responded that the print to fit would have been required to have been the result of an intentional manipulation, but had the print to fit been set to print a 20 Inch it would have had no effect on the output of 20 inch ballot.
So basically the hypothetical posed by Arizona was impossible to cause the result demonstrated on the actual ballot evidence.

Right. Shrink-to-fit is for an image bigger than the print paper. In this instance the print paper was bigger than the image 20" vs 19". It's an impossibility that could be what happened.

That's what the current witness is testifying about the number of people who definitively left. If she had done it by affidavit - it would have been "anecdotal."
True….but it’s actual people who signed a document claiming they did not vote due to the jacked up voting system in AZ. That’s somewhat tangible data.

An incorrectly printed ballot wouldn't scan at ANY tabulator.
The defense better hope that’s the case.

Distrusting the system was what made them show up. The FUBAR system on their arrival - caused them to leave. So says the expert testimony in the case. The only rebuttal by AZ is a guy who did no investigation and said, i haven't seen any data that . . .
But that’s not being disenfranchised. If you refuse to put the ballot in box 3 to be scanned elsewhere and choose not to go somewhere else and vote, you are not disenfranchised. You chose not to vote because you don’t like the options.
