Really is astonishing how people can't, or refuse to, understand how Israel is different than any other nation in the world to us. It's the Holy Land. Something that our Euro/American ancestors have been defending for centuries. So to Christians, having Jews in charge, though maybe not perfect, is better than the alternative.
Like it or not, doesn't matter, it's engrained in our cultural fabric.
(Now if you are a non-Euro descendant American, then that will make more sense, but doesn't change the "why.")

Israel will get their annual welfare check as usual, and they will continue to buy our politicians. Kamala is just trying to keep the progressives happy. The "consequences" will be nothing but harsh words.
