Just Voted. Voted For Fleming. I Think He's Better Than Letlow, But Not 100% Positive.

The main thing is to retire Cassidy and make that bought-and-paid-for scumbag have to go get an honest job.

He'll probably just become a well-paid lobbyist, though. The Swamp takes good care of their own kind.

Fleming is the right choice. He has been the right choice for years, but hasn’t gotten the support from S La in a lot of elections.

Great choice! I early voted for Fleming this week as well. No more RINOs.

No way Cassidy makes the runoff. NOBODY is going to vote for him but plenty of people will go out to vote AGAINST him

Low voter turnout means the informed people.

Did you at least remember to call him and thank him for fighting for Louisiana?

EDIT: I'm being sarcastic. I am referring to his campaign ad that said we should call and thank him.

Fleming should be everyone's choice, but I'll welcome aboard the "voting for anyone but Cassidy" crowd. I'm going with my wife to vote early in the morning.

Agree it's time for Cassidy to head on out to pasture.

Fleming became a lobbyist after he got out of Congress and evidently still is one despite being our elected state Treasurer. (LINK and LINK ).

Fleming's bio from his lobbying firm's website: "...He also met regularly with Operation Warp Speed which developed COVID vaccines in record time, and represented the chief of staff’s office in the many meetings and activities of the Coronavirus Task Force led by the Vice President."

Careful. I caught a ban for posting that joke about the woman Kentucky Derby trainer right after the race.

Good choice if you like elected government officials moonlighting as lobbyists.

I am 50/50 here..... 48 years old originally from Monroe and have lived on the NS for 17 years. I know Letlow from my ULM days. My family is deeply rooted in Monroe and my younger sister has personal ties to Julia.

Up until yesterday, I was all-in on Fleming. I talked to a professional guy that met Letlow at the MSY earlier this week for a meet/ greet and was left extremely impressed with her by telling me she is much different in person than what is being displayed on the commercials. I believe in DJT and his efforts to MAGA more than almost anything at this time of my life. I voted for DJT 3 times and will do it again before a cat can lick its arse. There is a reason he is pushing her. Even if she is simply a YESSIR vote for the next 6 years, she appeals to me for this reason alone.

However, I cannot in good conscience pull a lever for an unproven female in today's climate. There is a much better possibility of allowing someone to inflict harm on one of my kids than me voting for Cassidy. Neither is occurring no matter what.

Words of wisdom: if you can avoid voting for a woman, do it! Flemming all the way

I’ve met both. Julia is a nice lady. Fleming has the experience and conservative lean I prefer and trust. We voted for Fleming on Monday. I pray he wins.

If this Political message board is any indication Fleming should win. I’m expecting him to get just enough to run 1st.

And? You gonna be mad at the President too for this, and still promoting the vax as recent as 2024?

Letlow is running a shitty ad campaign. I have yet to get a reason to vote FOR Letlow besides being endorsed by Trump. I will be voting for Fleming. I'm hoping for a Fleming/ Letlow runoff to hopefully get deeper insights to both candidates.

If one these come in hard with the Attack Pacs I'll be voting for the other in the runoff.
