The level of mental illness required to tell that reporter what John Stuart Lebowitz told her is probably unrepairable.

God help him, I think he's actually pretending to be serious. They obviously paid him very, very well down thru the years.

I wish she had asked him why the media agreed to submit their questions in advance to Biden, when that had never been done before. I wish the lady had the data showing that "the price of eggs" had been mentioned only once during Biden's final month in office, but that subject has been raised obsessively starting on 1/20/25.

I wish she had asked him why CBS thought "no tax on tips" was a bad idea when Trump proposed it, but cheered Kamala for having a good idea a few months later. I wish she had asked him why it was okay for Stacey Abrams and Hillary Clinton to question the results of an election, but Trump doing so was a conspiracy theory which led to an indictment.

I wish she would've asked him why it was okay for VP Biden and SOS Clinton to possess classified material, yet PRESIDENT Trump's home was raided over the same exact issue.

I could keep going for hours, but anybody with an IQ higher than wet paint knows that the corrupt, bought-and-paid-for corporate media is total shite. If Stewart really was being serious here, then he's no better than any of the rest of the propaganda puppets (which wouldn't really surprise me).

Very clearly he is being tongue in cheek seeing as he is literally part of that conglomerate and spent a decade or more poking fun at the exact apparatus. Stewart is the embodiment of the aged clown who wished he could retire but the circus forces him to dance every night. You can tell he hates what he does and he resents the machine he helped create but hes either too compromised or too egotistical to stop. My money is on the former.
