A fitting tribute in my opinion. Some love him, some hate him but he was always 100% behind our military. Fittingly, a C-17 will be taking him to South Carolina for burial.

The point being made is that if you're an American citizen who collaborated with an enemy, you can be treated as an enemy combatant and therefore tried by the military.

This is 100% germane to the moment.

Joint Base Lindsey Graham: it swings both ways; Air Force and Navy.

As a Navy veteran and a SC state dawg owner/breeder... I agree with this.

So every lifetime politician who holds on until they're carried out of DC feet first gets a base named after them?

This is laughable, but he sucked up to the right people late in his career.

I don't know the percentage, but I'd wager it's a high one of government facilities and installations that are, in fact, named for someone who had served in government in some capacity.

LG wasn't only just a Senator, anyway.

Oh FFS.

Graham never gave a shite about South Carolina until election time.

He was only behind our military because of the spoils associated with that -throwing money at problems, especially wars, is what personally enriches these guys. Graham sucked as a person and truly did nothing to help America in the long run. I will not miss him

When Hank Johnson passes I think we should name the base on Guam after him.

He died without spoils... surprising many people.
