The place of definitely worth more than 18. However the site is from what I gather zoned as something different. I do not think that you could for example build “bigger” on it hence a lesser value than some places. I am sure that is one reason Trump bought it in the first place. Pay less

It's deed restricted and that was ignored in the Trumpco valuations of $600MM+.

The $18-27MM valuation comes from the Palm Beach Assessor's office.

Why do you try to talk about things you have no clue about? There is a huge difference between tax assessed value and market value, if you think you could buy that property for anywhere near 25$ million you are mentally ill

Hannity’s radio show had someone that talked about that.He said he had been to Rush’s place and MarLago.
He said Mar Lago was significantly larger,nicer and had quite a bit more acreage.
He guessed M L to be worth at least $600 million.

Why is there any debate about this.

18 mil is a long way from 180 mil.

Joe blow real estate appraiser isn’t remotely qualified to do this type of asset valuation.

It’s like people don’t even pretend to understand how any of this works

Yep.

Look on Zillow. Two beachfront lots for sale in Palm Beach, each one about 2.25 acres each.

The worst looking one is listed for $150 million. The better, more open lot is listed for $200 million.

Just for a vacant, 2 acre lot.

Not quite that simple. It's a revenue producing property so it would be valued even much higher than that.

I just provided where the $18mm valuation in the court opinion came from. Same place I read about the deed restriction and the Trumpco value. There "expert" came up with a $1.5B valuation.

If you read the opinion you will also see that when it came to his Manhattan apartment he inflated the value by misrepresenting the square footage by 3X.
