Well those picks in the portal didn’t live up to expectation period. As Jay stated in his interview is he should have kept this young guys that had been at LSU, he’s kicking himself for that. The portal in my opinion seems to be a risk. I agree with the expectation, but it’s baseball and shite happens. I honestly think this is a different team next year. Jay took a BTA this season. Look, I always want LSU to win it all, trust me. I have to deal with the fricking blue bloods here around basketball and baseball seasons!

It’s definitely on Jay because he most likely ( I’m not 100% sure) goes with what our pitching coach picks/suggest. Now anybody that has coached at the college level could fill us in on who really makes the pitching change decision. We also know they go with data on their picks, I don’t know why they went with Guidry. I like Cowan better , but I’m not sure what their strategy was for this weekend and maybe had Cowan for tomorrow. To be a fly on the wall.

Jay already took “THE BLAME” and admitted he went after the wrong guys in the portal and needs to do better recruiting and keeping his young players, where the frick do you part time fans come from? You can be mad at Guidry for leaving shite hanging over the fricking plate! JJ can’t throw the ball for them!

He did take the blame and admitted he screwed up taking those guys in the portal. Where did he put blame on anyone else??? I think it takes a lot for coaches to step up and say they fricked up.
I get that, but look at how damn good the SEC is!

I don’t know, it would be a high profile coach tho. Jay isn’t going anywhere and he learned a valuable lesson this season. He should have kept his young players who have been at LSU rather than going in the portal so hard. He learned and he will fix it.

That we won a NATTY last season. The powerhouse will return next season. You can’t fricking win them all, it’s baseball, we are all disappointed. GD shut this whiny entitled bullshite down. Jay learned a lesson this season and it happens. POWERHOUSE will be back next season, Jay will get it right. If you wanna bitch and moan just leave.
