All I can say is that it is a good thing we use screen names here, or your name would be forever tied to the stupidity of the above comment.

I agree with this. Government will likely have to step in and establish barriers to entry ( human credentials) for many professions.
Instead they passed a bill that said no regulations for 10 years.
Is that surprising given the value of any AI related stock right now? The AI lobbyists have money to burn.

As a programmer, sounds like bullshite to me.
Actually, I have a project where I want to build a set of hardware counters to measure frequency and period of a fast signal. The Raspberry Pi Pico microprocessor has I/O that is hardware configurable, like an FPGA, and is a good choice for this project - let the hardware do the counting and the processors can operate on and display the data from the counters. The problem for me is that I am an electrical design engineer that does a little bit of C++ programming when I have a need, and the code needed to configure the I/O is in a different language that I can't even read. I described the need and the circuit to Grok and Grok came back with code for me.
The circuit consists of two 32 bit counters, and a programmable counter. The programmable counter divides a reference signal to gate the signal to the other two counters and dumps the count into registers for the processor to read. It also triggers an interrupt so the processor knows that the data is ready. Grok says it will work up to about 150 MHz. I am building the hardware (Pico, display, input amplifier, prescaler, and time base. Will give it a shot this weekend.

Quite literally, it is different. The dead guy didn't deserve to die, but he did several things that increased his likelihood of dying and then he won the lottery. It's a loss. He does not seem like a bad guy, just mislead like so many others in the MSP area. I lived there before internet and it was a sea of bias and misinformation.
As for you. Go back to the OT or the gay sex with llamas board or wherever the frick you normally hang out. You are a POS.

Yes we avoid the situation but they shouldn't be able to do what they did based of the video we saw only.Im not talking immigration, I'm talking about citizens no matter what your party is.
I have lived in the Twin City area before. On a good day, people are ready to go off for a minor reason. They are not nice people. I have lived in 8 different places during my life and the Twin Cities is the one place I would never consider returning to.
Anyone with common sense is avoiding the down town areas. Nothing good can come from going there. It is a free country and everyone can do as they choose. Legal or not - I am not sticking my hand under a running lawn mower. This guy did multiple levels of stupid. I'm not saying that he should have been shot, but it's not a perfect world. shite happens. Even more shite happens when emotions have intentionally been ramped up on one side and the other side feels threatened and unsupported. The sad thing is that ramping up on the left was intentional. Walz got what he wanted - another martyr. It would be tragic if the government buildings where evidence of all the fraud and kickbacks are located burn, wouldn't it? It's also part of the democratic plan to destabilize the country while Trump is in office.
The death of someone that did not need to die is sad, but it was predictable. It is a desired side effect of the seditious conspiracy by the leaders of the state of Minnesota. Expect more deaths. Be smart - stay away from situations where it might be you.
One more thing. You can't tell Jack shite from the videos I have seen. Give it another week until there is a better time line, better video, and some testimony from witnesses and officers before you come to a conclusion about what happened. Every post you have made portrays this as an execution. It was not. It was people being people, doing stupid people stuff, under an intentionally fricked up set of conditions. Root cause is the intentionally fricked up set of conditions.

No one said he shouldn't be arrested. 7 shots after the gun was removed is excessive and lack of training.
Here's the thing. LE is trained to shoot until the threat is no longer a threat. The whole key to this is to prevent the cascade of events that starts out with you larping as some savior of society and ends with you bleeding out in front of a doughnut shop. Personally, I have been able to prevent this cascade in my own life for 65 years. It's not hard.

I’m not sure, but I think you are wrong. By using different frequencies they might be able to affect metal but not human flesh.
The easiest link in the chain between the trigger and the firing pin to break is one of the small springs in the trigger group. That spring is located inside an RF shielded box (lower receiver - stamped steel for AK and cast or machined aluminum for AR). The air around the spring acts as a heat sink, removing energy from the spring and the lower receiver reduces the energy getting to the spring. You need a shite ton of energy to heat the spring to anneal it. Some frequencies are more efficient at heating springs. Some frequencies are more efficient at turning people into slag. With the difference in the amount of energy required to anneal the spring vs. turn the person holding the spring into slag, it's going to be slag first, every time. Frequency matters, but not in this scenario.
There is another way. The spring is the weakest link between the trigger and the firing pin, but that isn't the full path required to fire the weapon. The real chain is brain to firing pin. Most likely, whatever was used broke the chain further up, and the confusion and bleeding from the ears were a side effect of making sure 100% of the people in the area could not pull a trigger, unless they were protected.

I asked a question, you fricking imbecile. And apparently the first reply to the thread is the correct answer. Ask an AI if it's possible for an electromagnetic ray device to disable a firearm. The answer is yes. And we know they used such devices during the raid.
Energy is Power multiplied by Time. Take a frozen White Castle cheese burger, put it in your microwave, and cook it on High for 45 minutes. What you are left with is what the person carrying a weapon that was disabled by any kind of EMF weapon would look like. The amount of energy needed to affect any change whatsoever in any component inside of a firearm that would prevent it from firing is huge. Huge enough to turn the person holding the weapon into slag.
