Something happened to Jimmy at some point. What he can’t comprehend outside of his own narcissism is that we don’t believe the likes of people like him anymore. He lives in a mansion and rubs elbows with the biggest names in entertainment daily. He is an expert of nothing and yet talks down to us like he knows what we go through on a daily basis. The people have spoken Jimmy and we’re fricking tired of the act.

Celebs think they’re this untouchable aristocracy in our society. Kimmel needs to be the first one to go the way aristocrats did in the French Revolution.

Arrogance and over-compensation.

Entertainers and comedians know that what they do in life is trivial and inconsequential. They latch on to virtue signaling causes to make themselves appear profound and that their lives matter.

It's also arrogance because they actually start to think people care what they have to say.

Two of the low key saddest moments from the monologue:

1) His 7 year old having any emotional connection to the election. That is all Kimmel brainwashing his kid.

2) The number of people in the crowd that raised hand when Kimmel asked if anyone had cut off contact with a family member because they voted for Trump.
