Sharia law cures homelessness? Brilliant, Sally! You solved homelessness! Islam is the answer, y'all!
Sharia governs mainly family law issues.
"Criminal and Civil Courts: Criminal and commercial matters are primarily handled through a secular, codified court system rather than traditional religious courts, though Islamic jurisprudence still guides underlying principles."
Point is- there are major population centers in this world that do not have, create, encourage or subsidize antisocial behaviors. It IS possible.

Great day in the morning. Talk about "pot/kettle." You appear to reside in Fantasy Land.

BECAUSE THEYRE ON DRUGS OR HAVE MENTAL ISSUES. Do you have someone hold your hand while you brush your teeth?

I'd vote for him on the Lane hire alone.
Remember when Kelly getting fired was Landry's fault and no coach would come here?
Good times.

I mean... you've literally never provided for yourself in your entire life. And you think you're in a position to judge and look down people who don't have your mother or husband to shelter them? Girl. Have some self-awareness.
Personal attacks?
I'd say you're better than that... but, well, you aren't.
I'm sorry your husband doesn't support you while you care exclusively for your children, him, and household. Don't take it out on other women, though.

I have to be missing something. Can someone explain or even suggest how moving money from permanent housing into drug adduction or mental health services would decrease homelessness?
They live on the streets to do drugs. None of these people will find permanent housing while zombified.
And importing millions of jobless homeless people doesn't help either.

She seems bitter. Your job is the hardest job especially when the kids are little like I have. It’s probably the most fulfilling too. I’m jealous of my wife staying with kids and taking care of them and me daily. Until I watch them for a couple days and then I can’t wait to get back to work. God speed

It's awesome and I'm grateful our family is able to pull it off. I can't think of any higher calling than to tend to the people and the home God has so richly blessed me with.

One of the greatest gifts we were able to give our children, was the gift of their mom being there for them everyday as a stay-at-home mom. It’s what my wife wanted to do and we made sacrifices so she could live out her dream. All our kids will finish near the top of their classes and she’s allowed me to have a successful business career. Stay-at-home moms provide a valuable opportunity for families, if that’s what they choose to do.
Chubbies is the worst kind of feminist…. A feminist who doesn’t support other women who have a different career path than their leftist orthodoxy

Is your suggestion to send our homeless to Dubai? Adopt Sharia law? Or simply pay to house homeless people in prisons instead of shelters or apartments/?

Sure.
No.
The moment they break a law, absolutely.

Personal attacks?
Why do you view that as an attack? Are you ashamed that you've depended on other adults to provide everything for you your whole life?
Why? My sister hasn’t worked in 20 years. I don’t view that statement as an insult to her.
If you think calling out your hypocrisy is an attack… Well, I don’t know what to tell you. You look down on people who don’t have husbands or parents to provide for their housing. You dehumanize and ridicule them despite you only ever having a place to live because someone else paid for you to have a place to live. It’s ok for you to rely on others to pay for your housing but you demonize strangers who don’t pay for their housing either. That’s the part that you should be ashamed of.
I’m sure you’ll be posting some scripture quote soon to demonstrate your moral superiority.

Why are you sorry for this imaginary situation you've concocted?
You are bragging about depending on your husband to provide for your housing while demonizing homeless people for not having husbands to provide their housing. Why are you pretending that I give a shite if you have a job or took care of kids 15 or 20 years ago?

So your solution to homelessness is...
Adopt the Muslim culture that Dubai embraces?

Are we really trying to equate homelessness on the streets with how a family decides to divide labor to take care of children while living with one income.
It took me almost to age 50 to learn people equate my mother with a bum. My father and sisters will be shocked when I fill them in.

Can you explain how you drew that conclusion?

You seriously misunderstand how marriage and family works.
Think of it like this... you pay Consuela to care for your household, my husband "pays" me to care for his.
quote:
My sister hasn’t worked in 20 years.
If she's managed her household, reared children and cared for her husband she most certainly has "worked".

Adopt what policies work, wherever they come from.

You said I made a personal attack when I stated that you've never provided for yourself. Why do you view that as a personal attack?

I didn't say she didn't work. She's not home posting online about how homeless people are essentially subhuman and are undeserving of assistance while her husband is earning money to pay for her life. You are.
