Do you believe God created babies in his image and likeness?
Yes
quote:
At what point did God withdraw his image and likeness from the homeless person? At what point did God say “hey person without shelter - you are no longer human. You no longer count as one of my children.” ?
Did he? You really do like to lie.
quote:
human dignity is worth. You’re playing semantics games because you realize what you’re claiming is absurd and atheistic.
You are just too dumb to understand my point. That is a you issue.
quote:
you are actually lecturing me about my beliefs after denying the existence of human dignity.
Again, you are a pathetic liar.
You really are a horrible person.

Fair point, but what do you think a ven diagram of drug addiction, mental illness and homelessness would look like?
Significant overlap. Maybe I’m misunderstanding, but it seems your claims treat homelessness as the cause of drug addiction and mental illness instead of an effect of drug addiction or mental illness.

You always revert to personal attacks when your hypocrisy is called out. Pretty juvenile, uncharitable and dull.

There are people who are between homes, and then there’s feral humans. Some people don’t want to be helped. Some people cannot be helped. Some people cannot be rehabilitated. Some people will destroy any home you give them, bite every hand that feeds them, and make untenable every public space you allow them. We need to be able to differentiate between people without a home and feral humans. We need to be removing feral humans from society.
Jesus may be able to save and forgive all, but I am not Jesus. I just want to have nice public spaces that aren’t trashed, I want to not be harassed on the street, and I am tired of stepping over human shite and discarded needles.
When people’s actions prove to me that they are not safe to interact with society, it should be government’s policy to remove them or else they will have to deal with the much messier process of society creating justice itself own way.
We are all created in God’s image, but we are also endowed with free will. What we do with that free will determines how we will be judged by our peers and our God. Feral humans routinely choose to be violent and destructive. Thus, we should choose to remove them from opportunities to do further harm to innocents. People who are too mentally ill to understand what they’re doing and are harming others need to be institutionalized for their safety and society’s.

End the homeless services and bums will just about disappear. These services all increase homeless populations
Burn them down. Let the church lead this though I won't blame them if they don't.

This didn’t happen. There was no hypocrisy, and the “personal attack” is simply me being honest.
You lied again. Go figure.

Not at all - in fact, exactly the opposite. If it wasn’t for drug addiction and mental illness there wouldn’t be a homeless problem.

After you repeatedly ran cover for the English Labour Party’s facilitation of Muslim rape gangs across the UK, excused their jailing of victims to protect perpetrators, my opinions were warranted.

I agree. It just seems like the homelessness is pathologized instead of the conditions that likely cause the homelessness, which are also the most likely causes of the undesirable behaviors associated with homelessness that most of us complain about.

Another thread you have managed to completely destroy.
Congrats.

Most of them dont want or even use existing services. Are you stupid enough to suggest that social services create more homelessness or makes people want to stay homeless?
Yes. And the evidence points overwhelmingly to that conclusion. In every city, the homeless population is proportional to how generous the benefits are. Lower the benefits and we will have less homelessness.

Benefits like a homeless shelter? Food kitchen? This is framed as though shelters create homelessness. Closing a shelter will not provide housing or the the people who utilized the shelter. It just shuffles the deck.
Are we measuring success by reducing homelessness, or by reducing the visibility of homelessness?
