and the assumption that BDR will cut budgets and spend less is just that. Trump is the devil you know.

establishment on both sides.

Please enumerate exactly what he did to 'stand up' to the establishment. Other than berating and belittling some people publicly or on social media, he didn't do shite that I'm familiar with. No federal depts cut. No deep state legislation repeals or expirations (he resigned everything including the shite that they used against his campaign). No budget cuts (he actually increased the size and scope of the federal gov't). And, you don't get more establishment than shutting down your country and suspending the civil liberties of every American at the behest of Anthony Fauci.

nobody gives a frick about debt anymore after what obama did.

Those of us with a high school understanding of household finance have cared for a long time.

jobs

Trump had the easiest job of all time. Simply undo everything that Obama had done to cripple our economy. To Trump's credit, he did those. Nice. Then, he went and took a big shite on the whole thing with his COVID lockdown and bailout. His COVID bailout was the largest transfer of wealth in our lifetime and ironically, it all went to mega corporations and their Chinese suppliers.

quote:

tax and reg cuts

Again, Obama left over layups. Again, he did do those things and they were great. Then he shite all over them with lockdowns and more deficit spending.

quote:

pro energy

Agreed.

quote:

Agreed.

quote:

lowest unemployment for blacks, hispanics and women

Again, all layups. Which I happily give him the win on those, but he also gets the loss since he's the one who also wrecked it.

quote:

trade

Talking point. All he did was increase taxes on American consumers via tariffs.

quote:

borders

Increased the size and scope of the federal gov't. Not sure how this is a win.

quote:

getting out of useless wars.

The one good thing he did. No shooting wars, but plenty of trade wars.

I still do. A great deal actually. This was my issue with Trump. Those continuing resolutions.

They will keep pushing for Desantis over Trump, because Trump scares the ever loving shite out of them.

I would be happy with either, but I would love to see Trump back in to, watch the economy and gas prices get better. But mainly I hope he would clean house and do the things he knows now he should have done on day 1 in his first term.

Like fire 25% of the FBI, CIA, DOJ and DHS. If he cannot fire them they transfer all of them to a former abandoned military base somewhere in Alaksa. One with no communications of any type. Or they could retire.

And when they (or anyone else) retires they should lose any top secret clearances they hold.

Republicans should definitely let celebrities and democratic politicians tell them who should be their choice for President. Nothing could ever go wrong.

Not this DeSantis guy. I'm fully on the DeSantis sleigh but I will very happily vote for Trump if he's the guy. I don't care who it is, as long as they're not a democrat.

Trump v BDR
im hopeful these 2 guys see the issue with taking on each other and work it out themselves.

i think Desantis is the guaranteed winning ticket. even though the media will try to destroy them, there is no one they will go to war with more than Trump. And those that already decided against trump arent going to change their minds.

Sounds to me like you just want to tell everyone how much smarter and better you are than them. I might be wrong but if you hoped to accomplish anything productive on an anonymous message board you wasted your time.

You might want to read up on how Presidential Succession works. Use President Ford ascension to POTUS as an example of how this works.

If you list "I'm a pussy and Trump's tweets hurt my feelings", everything else just gets ignored.

That's what you start off with? YOU are the reason why men are so weak in this country.

You should probably just stick to the Democratic Party for life.

Because you don't want to know. Look at the upper people in the FBI that was removed in disgrace.

Look at the 7th FLOOR in the State Dept he removed in month 1.

No federal depts cut.

NOT true at all. And was doing more. WAPO and more slammed him for it.

BS!!!! What a lack of understanding HOW the federal gov works. It's also laughable that you think OBAMA started our decline.

This is BS.

There are a lot of conservatives who feel government spending/debt/size of government is the number one issue. You fix the spending/debt issue, you fix a lot of issues.

This is why Trump doesn't gain traction with the conservative wing of the GOP(the Rand Paul types). They overwhelming prefer DeSantis because they have already seen what Trump can do on this issue. I watched Trump spend like a Democrat for four years. It wasn't pretty.

Let me guess - you lecture us on this but also are easily triggered by the dumb threads that link to a literal rando on twitter saying something outrageous, causing you to conflate the single twitter moron with 100 million Americans you'd rather just hate anyway?
