We need to not vote for the GOP, FULL STOP.

You can't reform the swamp, Trump tried for four years.

You can't reform the party, Matt Gaetz was sure they had the votes but Cheney stays on.

You can't keep voting for these assholes.

Sorry, wrong.

It's simple. We are the majority in the party. Just because people who were already elected huddled up to protect Liz (who is done in Wyoming) does not change they are a a dying breed.

Splitting the vote does nothing. It's like saying because a person invaded your home you are giving it to them.

Democrats aren't conservative.
GOP isn't conservative.
Patriot Party isn't conservative.

Why even bother.

The Democrats wholeheartedly agree with you. Remember the 1992 presidential race between Bush, Clinton & Perot?
Clinton won with 43% of the popular vote.

Thats fine, but going this direction means you have to fight ALL OF THE POWER - Dem and Gop. Both have to be actively resisted

This whole "I aint voting GOP" by itself leaves you in a deeper hole. Beat the Gop - but beat the DEM trash first, the GOP next..

One side is an insurgent communist force - THEY are the first to be defeated.

Otherwise you are a pure dumbazz

And that’s different from now, how?

After thinking about it, I’ll vote if there’s a candidate I believe in. That’ll be hard to come by. What I will not do, is pull a lever for a letter just because. I also won’t be voting for ANYONE currently elected in my state. So you want me to vote, fine. I’ll probably find an R candidate to get behind even though it’ll be the same as not voting.
Cassidy is a perfect example. I’ll stay home before I ever pull the trigger for that poser

I'd like to see the cost/benefit of overhauling the current GOP vs. New Party.

I won’t say that. But I will say that I’m no longer a Republican.

Best post in this entire thread. I get telling the GOP to pound sand on an emotional level. They deserve it. The problem is finding a way to punish them that does not massively help the Democrats. Also, while both parties may be truly worthless that does not mean they are the same. The Democrat Party is a collective hive of identity politics and social justice. If you are going to be a collective hive of anything those are your worst two choices. The Republicans can not figure out what in the hell they are but at least they are still clueless individuals and not clueless groupthink.

I'm not sure what camp I am in on this. I can see both sides. What I do know is that whatever road this goes down has to be a road that curbstomps the Democrats at the end of it. The Republicans may not be a solution, they may even be a problem in themselves but if they are they are a Mars sized problem while the Democrats are a Jupiter sized one.

I changed my party affiliation to Independent and unsubscribed from Ronna McDaniel's annoying emails wanting money.

The whole thing needs to fail so we can fix it.

Money and lobbyists pick the candidates in the GOP, money and lobbyists create the PACs the attack any outsiders relentlessly. This thing is a long established machine that doesn't care what "the majority in the party" thinks and that's on full display these past few weeks.

There is no salvaging the GOP. They thought Trump was just a bit of disingenuous comedy relief satisfying his ego by running and they were caught with their pants down. They will NEVER allow that to happen again. Unless you believe in corporate-driven globalism and a perpetual war machine, unless you want a party who are paid by the same masters as the left and does absolutely nothing besides talk, unless you want a party that attacks and demonizes anything along the lines of a Trump voter... get out. Stop supporting this fraud of a party. Yesterday was a perfect example. They ran their mouth about Cheney and an overwhelming majority voted to keep her in place even though she voted to impeach their most successful candidate in years.

Get out. The GOP has to die for us to have a voice.

Good idea, but one big problem.

All Republicans will never get on board.

Instead every single problem Republican should be identified and people should demand the resignation of Romney, McConnell, Cheney, etc.

All of them.

Big money needs to go into removing these people.

They are the problem.
