Is this why Trump was pushing the deal so hard? Because he knows a deal will push the fighting to internal strife and we won’t even have to drop a bomb? I feel like this was the plan all along

It's been obvious that there has been conflict within the regime for quite some time now. This is masterful strategy. Now we wait for the defectors to side with the Artesh and drive the religious nutbag element of the IRGC out of the country.
