Heard the same thing when rich stoner boy Beto ran against Cruz. I don't see it happening...

Colin isn't a Democratic ideologue in the mold of Harris, Sanders, Beto or even Tim Walz. He readily works across the aisle with Republicans to make America great again; his moderation and decency as a family man effectively nullifies all the slings and arrows the Trump/Cruz coalition launch in his di-rection.

Yea I believe Colin Allred will send Cruz back home to his humble hacienda in Houston

Then Trump wins and next thing you know, Cruz is kissing Trump's ring claiming politics and nothing personal. I could never be a politician, you insult my wife like that and I will need some bail money for the assault charges.

Not to defend Ted Cruz but he actually walked into the 2026 RNC and said “vote your conscience” after everybody else kissed the ring.

Which was pretty ballsy.

He didn’t buddy up to Trump till midway 2017.

Bullshite. He loves abortions and grooming just like the rest. He will follow the coastal elite polcies in screwing over the rest of us. He is absolutely bad for Texas. We have enough shite leadership as is.

So wrong.

I live in his district. He is a complete non-entity compared to Pete Sessions. He never makes appearances, hasn’t proposed or sponsored any major legislation, and always votes with the Party.

I always get calls back and help from Cruz and Cornyn’s offices but never his. In fact, his office goes out of its way to respond to me in the exact opposite way I ask them to.

Dude hid his white wife all throughout his first campaign so black voters in South Dallas would take him seriously.

He’s just another empty suit who never stands up to Party leadership unlike Sinema or Manchin. I would expect more of the same from him as a Senator.

For those worried about the polls, Morning Consult went from +8 Cruz to +1 Allred in 10 days. Something’s not right with that one. Cruz is +3 in the latest YouGov poll which was one of the least accurate for 2020. He’s probably running pretty even with Trump anywhere from +4-+6.

I know this for a fact. I know someone heavily involved in these campaigns & Allred intentionally did not include his White wife in his congressional run ads so they wouldn’t piss off Black women. Now they are bringing her out for commercials in this Senate campaign to attempt to appeal to White women. Again, we are living in bizarro world.

Tarzana, you have to be a complete idiot to think he will even consider working across the aisle as a Senator. It is well known he takes his orders directly from the DNC. He is not very bright & you know it.

his attacks are on immigration (Cruz is a border hawk) and abortion (Cruz has nothing to do with Texas' abortion laws)

he doesn't touch on any progressive issues except for the 10 or less women that had awful abortion stories (they are tragic and i've told my rep running for TX House to address it. Nobody wants a woman to be forced to carry a baby that's already passed to term. Absolutely nobody is interpreting the law that way except Doctors that want to make it political.)

Even though Beto was a freaking clown, he at least had the audacity to admit to being a democrat r

I find it extremely hard to believe that any woman in this country is forced to carry a dead baby to term due to any abortion law. You're either mis-speaking or lying. which is it

Dem politicians in Utah rarely put Democrat on their signs.

What are they ashamed of?

Given Cruz's popularity level (which on a scale of 1-10 is a negative tree fiddy), I think this race is close (even though I expect Trump to easily carry Texas).

He's easily more popular than cornyn and eye patch so, who are you compairing him to

The Houston stations basically run 1 ad from each during commercials.

Allred is preaching abortion now, it was about the border until...

Cruz is hitting Allred with his own words about tearing down the racist border wall.

From what I've seen Allred is polling behind where Beto was 2018, which does not bode well for him.

Cruz is far less popular than other Texas Republicans with the electorate, but he should win by at least what he did in 2018.

2 years ago Dan Patrick trounced his 'moderate' opponent who was supposed to give him a race, so Texas is sitll pretty red. Cruz just has a likeability issue with people that he can't seem to get past.

I see them in the Houston area also - never see any yard signs tho - but I rarely get out of my neighborhood.

They always pump billions of $$$ to defeat Cruz - I think he I safe.

Gov and AG are keeping good control over the illegal voting too.

that's entirely false on a molecular level.

i'm not criticizing his views but he's been entirely left on every single issue possible except for a single piece of legislation with John Cornyn.

i'm not hating on the dude. he's not Beto, SJL, or Al Green, but he's not a moderate by any means and to pretend otherwise is ridiculous.

No Democrat in the legislature can afford to be an honest representative of the people - their $$$$$ comes from the DNC PACs and they have to bend to whatever they say - they are total robots - not an intelligent or moral streak in any of them - pure trash.

Not surprising. He’s portraying himself as a moderate. He claims he’ll “stand up to the extremists on both sides” which is bullshite. He’s just another typical far left nut job.

I look forward to watching the debate with Cruz.

And yes, I see 2-3 Allred ads for every Cruz ad. Soros funded probably.
