I liked it much better when we were striking targets full time.
I liked it better when we weren’t striking anything and gas prices were below $3.

Taiwan is not in China. N. Korea is not in S. Korea. Geography and whatnot.

“We don’t negotiate with terrorists” has been the mantra forever. Knowing that, we’ve been doing it for months.
It hasn't been the mantra for the Democrats. Republicans, yes.
But free trade, capitalism, reducing government's power and scope, individualism instead of collectivism, and traditional values (including minimum degrees of decorum and manners) have also been historical conservative principles.
Trump and MAGA expressly reject any and all principles except Us vs Them.
So why would you expect him to follow that one?

Trump already has a plan. It’ll probably be double down on economic dismantling the IRGC and limited strategic bombing that will really hit them where it hurts.
And, of course, unleashing the…

Rest easy patriot. The long game is China. And you’re going to like how this movie ends.

Israel didn’t want negotiations so they sabotaged it again

The people that wanted the war and want to bomb the hell out of them belong to a cult.
Even if someone doesn’t think we should be over there in the first place…we’re there…might as well win.

This is the correct answer even if you're an isolationist sissy.
We don't win (defined by Iran refusing our terms) and it's all been for nothing.

The problem is what are you going to do to win this? We've sanctioned them to death, we can strangle some more, but they've proven to be able to put up with a lot of pain.
We would have to establish for ourselves an acceptable level of pain for ourselves and allies in the region. We'd be asking the UAE, Kuwait, Bahrain and Qatar and I guess Oman how much they are willing to put up with on OUR behalf.

Trump’s officially in a corner and has lost.
He negotiates like a desperate parent trying to convince the kidnapper to take the ransom.
