I'm not surprised at all that SlowVagFlo comes out on the side of suppressing religious freedoms.

I skipped ahead because I can't stomach 15 pages of this shite but I'm curious - is your suggestion that if music (or a concert) is taking place in a church, that church needs a permit for the event?
Take a Catholic school for example - Catholic schools put on everything from Christmas concerts to graduation ceremonies in the church. A church needs a permit for all these events?

That can't exist due to the lack of sincerity. That's the point

Sure, dipshit. I’ll hop in my car and drive right down to city hall right now

As has been established, this isn’t your brother John playing Swing Low Sweet Chariot on his acoustic guitar for the Easter Picnic

This fella plays very large venues and entertains The President of the United States at The White House and Mar a Lago

Do you want Rage Against the Machine playing a free pop up show on your block? Answer the question
You know why the cops showed up to this particular event and you even referenced it. It has nothing to do with permits and everything to do with the color orange.

I'm not
I'm not surprised you don't understand the basic difference in what's being discussed and what I'm supporting/believe

Let’s try one more time.
What’s the difference between a concert and a worship service as it pertains to permits?

The reality is the guy has political views that slow and the people who run Montreal are dogmatically opposed, so everything has to be contextualized as if the guy is a monster trying to harm the community with his beliefs.
Even if he sang about Jesus for an hour in front of 100 people while freedom fighters tried to burn the church to the ground, the fact that he espoused those wrong political beliefs elsewhere makes him a threat.
Ignore the rest, it's really as simple as that. And slow just likes to fling his shite on this board, so here we are.

The portion of the sincerity aspect that's relevant is that if there's not a sincere religious belief, then the further discussion about potential religious protection ends. You do not pass go. You do not collect $200. And you certainly don't get to bring up any religious-based protections potentially available to those with sincerely-held religious beliefs
FRAUD

No reasonable person believes this is legit permit regulation enforcement on an even handed basis as Antifa and militant Islamic groups wild out in public with impunity

I actually did try to look up the Montreal permitting requirements earlier but the SEO for their public permits dominates so it wasn't worth the effort when that part shouldn't be up for debate (as the government officials clearly stated prior to the event one was necessary).
I have ran and organized hundreds and hundreds of concerts and other events throughout my career.
You are so woefully wrong on this one. It makes me wonder just how wrong and dishonest you are about everything else you post on this forum. Your appeal to authority logical fallacy tendency is nauseating generally.

Why don't you ask Narax? He said it.

I would argue that he has moral views that inform him on political issues.
If I’m against abortion, that’s not really a political view. But it will affect how I view politics.

This is SFP speak for "I made a hasty, stupid assertion and now that I've been backed into a corner, I don't want to show that I was wrong and I certainly can't admit I was wrong"
Richard Attenborough should narrate this. "When trapped in the wild, the animal might turn to knawing off it's own appendage...."

You said it, too. Couldn’t last with that assertion for two successive posts?

According to YOU, singing about Jesus (in a church) is insincere, and a ruse to get around needing a permit.
Comical.

Sometimes.

thats not a point. Christian places of worship do exist, so you are obviously on an island comparing it to unanimously agreed insincere troll religions.
If a Jewish Temple had Lenny Kravitz singing about God, you'd still be the only one licking the boots in here, except for maybe the weird Jew hating sect that has formed on here.

This should be a permanent object lesson of how not to dig in too early... He's dug in and now has to defend the indefensible.
