A certain School District where I used to live has all but Fallen apart because in order to avoid being called racist they effectively have to let black kids get away with stuff. Because even if they handed out penalties perfectly even for every offense regardless of History blacks would get punished a bunch more. And since everybody refuses to admit that blacks are just violent pieces of shite it's perceived as racism. Well now that there's basically no punishment for many offenses as you can imagine it took the kids about 5 Seconds to figure that out

Well as if our education system wasn't already struggling under the weight of horrible priorities we decided to come pound that problem for almost two straight years by basically shutting down the schools and pretending remote education was going to work. And everybody stuck their heads up their asses ignoring the fact that the students that would be the worst affected would be the ones that could afford it the least. I mean my children had the benefit of a father who could help them all the way through calculus. And had the time to do so. But what about the fifth grader with a single mom who worked full-time and didn't graduate high school?
It's kind of sad that we as Americans have already basically forgotten that our educators cheered that shite on! And they swore to us that single mom McDonald's burger flipper overseeing daily efforts was just as good as being in a classroom with a teacher

He was exactly right. I will throw in one caveat. And I don't really know what the solution is. But one thing I've noticed is that sometimes people who grow up around very few black people are people who don't understand what black people really are in any substantial numbers. They will think about the three black kids that are in their High School who all seem perfectly decent and wonder what the hubbub is about. Then they go off to college and believe the bullshite told them. Often they end up in places like Seattle that have basically no black people either. And then they have no fricking idea what it's really like to live anywhere near a population that say 25% or more black. He's still right but this is an ongoing problem

Yep. Only difference is Democrats have long ago already squeezed out about as many districts as they could. Now it’s the Republicans turn. And there are far more red states than blue ones.
In red states, you can easily build perfectly normal districts that are ALL 55/45 red.

hey went, and my younger one still goes, to Zachary High School. I live literally across the street from the school. I grew up in Baton Rouge and went to catholic schools all the way through high school. We chose to raise our children here in Zachary. My entire family has since moved from Baton Rouge to here. Uncles and aunts and grandparents all live within a 5 minute drive. I chose to stay near family because I value that.

2. Taken note that you've ALREADY kinda maximized your gerrymandering in your blue states? Especially given how highly concentrated your blue already is?
3. Taken into account 1&2 to realize that if you want gerrymandering war, you're gonna get creamed.
