No. I never responded to your non-responsive comments down this road, trying to focus on irrelevant points

Why would a church need a permit for a singer? This by itself is progressive retardation.
Because they messed up and billed it as a performance, and didn't have a permit. When the police got there they told them it was a church service and they left.
quote:
“The church did not have a permit to organize a concert,” she said. “A statement of offence will be issued since the organization violated the regulations.” Asked by The Gazette if that includes a monetary fine, she replied: “Yes.”
Before the event, however, Feucht told media “this not a performance, it’s a church service.”

SFP, when churches have debates, and I have been to some that have 8k people, do those events require permits?
What about when churches have events where they fix household objects and change the oil in widows' cars? Are permits required for that work?

The show went ahead despite a warning from the city that the venue, Église MR, did not have the required permit to host the event.
That is just it. This is nothing but a power move by a liberal government. They are exerting their power and control over others because of their beliefs. It isn't like this show is taking place in a open park or public space. This is inside a church. This has nothing to do with a permit this about control.

Leave it to SloTardPro to defend Marxism.
Why am I not suprised?

I’ll give you same shot everyone else defending the city of Montreal has avoided.
What’s the difference between a concert and a worship service for getting a permit?

SFP, how is it possible that LEO all over the country are simultaneously negligent on this public safety concern? Is it a police mind virus? Are they all on the take? How does this work?

I already said I wouldn't, and why:

This is what you do. Try to obfuscate and re-frame discussions to take them off focus, ignoring the subject.
I'm not giving this irrelevancy the oxygen you so desperately seek

Why is this simple concept so difficult for y'all?
We get the concept. It's deplorable government overreach.

Sure, dipshit. I’ll hop in my car and drive right down to city hall right now.
As has been established, this isn’t your brother John playing Swing Low Sweet Chariot on his acoustic guitar for the Easter Picnic. This fella plays very large venues and entertains The President of the United States at The White House and Mar a Lago.
Do you want Rage Against the Machine playing a free pop up show on your block? Answer the question.

Define “sincere practice of religion “

They werent getting a permit, regardless due to the threat of left wing violence.
The city fricked up denying the permit.
quote:
Cities across Canada have canceled tour performances from Sean Feucht, a right-wing Christian musician with ties to the Trump administration and the Republican Party.
The cancellations include Quebec City, where the city said it pulled a contract for Feucht’s planned free Friday show at the ExpoCité venue due to “new elements.”
Do you know why?

Open mic night at the local coffee shop doesn't need a permit. But if Matisyahu wanders in and decides to sing, instant crime. Cuz he plays big venues too.
