Observing God's actions in regards to this Promised Land acquisition - God tends to kick out the non-believers (aka enemy of Israel) and if they resist He (God) sends a strong leader to defeat them. Enter one Donald J. Trump.
You should grab the Bible you presume to lecture me on - and read Exodus. It's all there in black and white. (hint: thousands of Jews waundering in the desert year in and year out and always there's order and purpose - no small miracle)
Now reflect on this .......... the man sent by God (Donald Trump) is now engaged in the process of destroying Israel's sworn enemy and the No.1 sponsor of terrorism in the world - IRAN.

The USA has been defending and supporting the whole world - on both sides of that WWII conflict - ever since.
NOW the same evil that elevated territorial disputes a century ago into WWII now hold the world hostage - demanding they be allowed to finish a century's lapse in their desire to erase Jewish from the face of the earth.
The same nation that rose up to defend the rest of the world then seems to be the only nation that wants to defend those moral values now.
I was born when the hatred that initiated that world war erupted.
I hope to die before it erupts again.
I most sincerely want to die with a comfortable belief that that hatred will never again put civilization as we know it at risk again.

Whether you believe they have a "right" to their own state misses the mark on reality. They are a state and they do have a right to defend themselves.

I don’t need to. Direct money sent there is dwarfed by the money we spend defending gulf allies not named Israel against the perceived threat of other gulf allies and the perceived threat from Israel.
