Absolutely 100% he'd be alive, no question.

Over 50 times Officers can be heard saying give me your hands during the encounter.

Why did you write this

Because as far I know it wasn't shown.. It can't make it any worse for the cops.. It just a series of events that are connected and the beginning is missing. I think you are taking what I wrote.. wrong...

But, if the guy gets out and cooperates during the initial encounter, is he dead today?

He was complying when they were beating the shite out of him. Any human on the ground in a fetal position screaming for his mother does not warrant brutality. They had him under control and continued beating him. It’s unconscionable.

Part of backing the blue is calling out awful police behavior and this is one of those times.

I wouldn’t have. It sounded like he was being kidnapped by thugs not a traffic stop by police

This story has exposed a lot of fake libertarian bootlickers. They like to act tough but when the cops come for their guns they will do whatever the police tell them to do because they’re cowards.

Because he was being handled in a way that suggested compliance was not working.

Was it though? In the initial stop, he refused to get on his stomach and give up his hand after repeatedly told to do so. The guy was definitely not cooperating.

Exactly.

If he had immediately gotten out of the car, and as quick as they were on him it would have had to have been immediately, these clowns would have lit him up for being aggressive.

You don't do anything fast when you have multiple guns pointed at you.

Yep.

"Lost them in the boating accident" my arse.

They'll invite the cops in to make sure they didn't miss anything.

Well said.

One of my observations of the videos is how many cops are on the scene. How are 5 involved so quickly?

I asked in a previous post, “has there been any results of drugs in Nichols system?” He is repeatedly tased, pepper sprayed, and repeatedly punched and kicked. But, still is able to run away.

No doubt. This one is different. They had numerous opportunities to cuff him.

Which ones, since you apparently know?

Which ones are you referring to?

Would have been real easy to just put him in cop car and bring him to jail but they just wanted to beat him up

Those cops escalated the encounter from the start. Absolutely no reason to start yelling, cussing and acting like a traffic stop is a SWAT assault.

Their tone and posture where at max stress level. If cops start acting like that initially, it definitely puts people into "Fight or Flight".

Normally in a traffic stop you remain in your car, if you try to get out the cops tell you to get back in.

These cops were on this guy immediately ripping him out of the car. Not a normal traffic stop at all.

Based on the police behavior at the start of the first video, it sure looks like something more than reckless driving or possible DUI.

I've seen a lot of DUI arrests, never seen one start off like that.

A pox on anyone who — in any form or fashion — who attempts to blame this dead man for the brutality of these murderous pigs.
don't be so dramatic. A gang of black guys in Memphis killing another black guy is just a Tuesday. Why should I get so worked up about it just because this gang was cops, when nobody gives a shite the rest of the time? Unjustified killings by cops just isn't a statically relevant issue in this country. It happens like 5 times a year in a country of almost 400 million people.

Also, the common thread in most of these incidents is that there are people who are too stupid to live. Say you get pulled over by some bad cops. Sure I guess they could just randomly kill you on camera for no reason if you comply, but that's like a one in a billion. Most likely if you are innocent, experience police brutality, just comply to get through it alive, you are going to be a rich man afterwards, especially these days. I'm sure a prominent black pundit will be in the news talking about how it's not fair that black kids have to get 'The Talk' about police because of things like this. I would like to know what they are being told in that talk, because from what I've seen they are being told to do everything possible to get yourself killed.

There’s nothing wrong with your statement. If he was innocent , remain calm and get rich from a civil rights lawsuit. Instead he ran and struggled which attributed to his fate.

Hence the rumors that it was personal.

And if that's the case, its straight-up premeditated murder. The whole argument about complying or not doesn't matter.
