Trump is funny on Twitter so I don't care about:

high gasoline prices
record Diesel prices
high grocery prices
8.5%+ mortgage rates
inflation
War with Iran

We only care about those things when Biden or Kamala is doing them.

The diesel production shut down by Iran is about 3.5% of the world’s diesel production. But diesel mostly stays in the local area in which it is produced. By this I mean the continent or trade area.

So the diesel disruption in the Middle East is probably not affecting American diesel prices a whole lot. But there are a lot of factors like the loss of ME distilled products. China has ceased exports of diesel; Russia has lost a lot of production due to the war; and crude oil prices are high.

All of these things are driving the prices up, and Trump has not imposed a similar ban on exports like China did. So US refiners are incentivized to export into that high priced world market unless Americans pony up similar amounts.

Your comment on this situation impacting how open is the Strait is bizarre. It shows that you are probably very upset that Trump is getting all of that oil through the Strait.

The muh Biden responses are my favorite. Like ok cool, you pointed out Biden sucked and had high inflation. Great. So why is that a defense for Trump? Prices still suck and you are living it in the now. Biden being as shitty is not a ringing endorsement for Trump

Crude oil not equal to diesel/gasoline.

Take from that what you will.

Thanks. I’ll take from it the fact that Democrats want higher fuel prices.

So tell us where theres a shortage. You claim bottleneck, and thats fine. Show me where its unavailable

It is global. That means storage space everywhere is high(lots of storage space means low diesel reserves). Just because you haven't run out yet means nada and you should be smart enough to know that.
Use your namesake dawg. It isn't hard.
But here, have a search

With "Trump"?

Someone said something to get elected? And it didn't come to fruition?? Boy! That's a new one! You know what I am glad of? We aren't just throwing hundreds of billions at Zelenskyy without any attempt to even end the conflict other than barking at a microphone.

I'm glad we never have anyone exaggerate their civil rights and academic records, their job creation records, a falsified inflation percentage when they entered office, a false claim of the inability to lawfully secure the border, that social security is totally on the "chopping block" by the previous administration to them... I'm also LOVING this cheap health insurance. Hell.... Obama himself claimed in a promotional booklet in 1991 that he was born in Kenya so he could sell books.

And on the subject of Iran.... remember when the last administration got a standing ovation from the left in the SOTU when he said that containing Iran was paramount to world security?

So was it bad then? Or bad now?

Seems there are a lot of things that were once good... but bad now. For some unknown reasons.

And I still don't get the protest of high gas prices of the left. You apparently wanted it and was in full agreement in 2008 and in reelection in 2012. The energy secretary said that was a goal. European prices.

Was it bad then or bad now? If then... why did you vote for reelection? If now... why the change?

Lets also remember that Iran was supposed to last "two weeks" just like "two weeks" to slow the spread turned into five months. Do you see a pattern here with Trump? I do.

You are really going to mention the "two weeks to stop the spread" without a single breath mentioning Fauci?? Really?? Who is the party pointing out his lies, fame chasing, and money seeking and which party is not? "Trust the science!!!" Remember?

The complete and total hypocrisy.... while trying to call others hypocritical... are my absolute favorites.

Hell.... the left wants Gavin Newsome to throw his hat in the ring for president... and gas prices in the rest of the nation now rival the normal prices in California. But the left is bitching about gas prices.... when they wanted higher gas prices in 2008 and 2012.

"I wanted it... now I don't want it.. but I'd vote for it if given the chance to. Again."

Nearly just as much crude oil is passing through the strait on a daily basis as before the Iran war began.

That is not true.

What has happened is that much of the ship-transported oil from middle eastern production fields has diverted to other routes. The flow of oil through the Strait of Hormuz is only about 1/3 of pre-war levels. However, the flow of oil through the Gulf of Oman has gone up by about 300%. As a result of the diversion, total shipment levels from middle eastern production fields are very close and just below the pre-war level.

What the diversion of oil away from the Strait of Hormuz has done is significantly reduce Iran's leverage.

As for the price of diesel, it will take months or up to a year or so for normal production and distribution levels to stabilize.

I mentioned midget Fauci in this thread and compared him to midget Zylenskyy and Trump's failure to rein them both in.

But but but "trust the science". Who was the majority calling other people "science deniers"? Who was calling people "conspiracy theorists"? Who was shouting down people who questioned him??

Who was arresting people for being alone in public? Who was doing their hair when they demanded others stay home? Who was closing off isles of seed to grow fruits and vegetables while pulling "do you know who I am" to get a boat in the water? Who was grouped together in an upscale restaurant when telling others to remain at home?

Who was idolizing Fauci?

Who was that?

Diesel is NOT at record highs.

It is close but not there-yet!

Inflation is a thing and the decreasing purchasing power of a dollar due to inflation must be taken into account when making price comparisons to the past.

None of that has a thing to do with Trump allowing Fauci to go on tv every single day for months on end before pulling the plug on the charade. Covid was just another example of complete and total failure of leadership by Trump. He didn't even have to fire Fauci all he had to do was pat him on the head and tell him he would no longer be the face of the government for Covid and make him stand off to the side and let someone else do the talking.

Who was it? I know the answer is problematic. But give it a shot.

Who was idolizing him? Who berated others for not idolizing him? Who was busted going about their days when demanding others follow his rules?

Cmon. Who was it?
