It is a very important issue to liberal women

It’s massively important to moderate female voters in the suburbs to the point of being their #1 issue. It’s by far the biggest reason why that group is voting blue in elections when all the other issues favor the GOP.

There are a lot of conservative women who won’t admit it but have had abortions when they were younger and want to make sure their daughters can do the same. They just don’t want to tell their conservative husbands about it.

Abortion has been a part of every presidential election in my life, and will be so until I die.

But it seems like a lot of Democrats in here seem to think since 2022 was all about abortion, every election from here until eternity will revolve around that issue. That is not going to happen.

It’s not a matter of “abortion being a good thing”. It’s the restrictions placed doctors and patients with legitimate health issues.

You’ve seen in several states lately that it is a very important factor with voters. That won’t change between now and November.

Not a democrat and yes its been an issue but the republican dog finally caught that abortion car....now they have to sort out pleasing their base that is clamoring for stricter abortion laws while balancing the mainstream views on the subject. Its going to take time to sort out the laws and hope something like Savita Halappanavar death doesnt occur here. It may not effect every election forever but it will for years.

False, although this was the lie being sold to women and they fell for it. Pushed by the same asshats demanding that everyone get vaccinated- selective choices for when the bodily autonomy kicks in. Plus, many politicians are pro life which also refutes their narrative that the male oriented government is sexist for trying to control women .

I disagree.

Even "conservatives" want to have the option to abort a pregnancy.

The issue with abortion is that the left is full of various single issue voters, and democrats cast a wide net to capture all of the different varieties. Republicans lose a lot of votes due to the abortion issue. They need to figure out some sort of compromise to stop getting their arse kicked by this issue.

It's the scapegoat for them to steal another election.

Pretty safe to say that conservatives believe that women do/should/must have autonomy over their own bodies. What we're saying is they should not have autonomy over SOMEONE ELSE'S body.

You want to "play an adult game," recognize that it comes with adult level consequences, for mom and dad. Recognize that, even if you take precautions against those consequences, you can't reduce the risk to zero. By continuing to "play," mom and dad are accepting those risks.

This is why abortion will not be an issue this year. This also might be why Trump wins by about 10 million votes. Info is from New York Times/Sienna polling (which mirrors other polling out there has been discussed). 2020 final poll (after voting), only 4% black and 20% hispanic for Trump. Fast forward to this year and its up to 23% black and 46% hispanic (Trump is actually leading Biden among Hispanics - the second largest voting block).

You’re wrong sadly and it’s a terrible moral failure on our part as humans it’s so sacred to so many. It’s currently the only issue of the lefts that never once fails to be over like?55% or l more nationwide support it, we can’t however compromise. The issue is too important even if it hits politically and people must be brought back to virtue over pure selfishness. It doesn’t help the right has some of the worst messaging in pr history on abortion

It's not about abortion but what abortion represents to some people. Abortion represents pure autonomy and female empowerment, especially against the patriarchy. It represents sexual freedom and freedom from consequences, which most people desire.

It's a terrible sin against God and horrible to think how many people have contributed in the murder of their own children, but people (women especially) have been brainwashed and conditioned for the past 60 years to minimize what abortion actually is to feed their own selfish desires.

I agree.

Suburban and/or moderate Moms are also concerned for the option for their daughters.

Massively concerned.

Single white liberal women have been brainwashed into thinking that their ability to have sex whenever they want with whoever they want is the most crucial right they have. It’s why they are usually so miserable, but like many others have said it’s very important to them.

So much so they are willing to run from the safety and security of marriage and family life to chase a few more dollars and make sacrifices for big corporations instead of making sacrifices for a family.

Why would you want to have kids and a family when you could make 10% more money and work for Amazon! Boss babes don’t need a family! They have tinder, alcohol, and cats to keep them happy!

Also if trump wins soon after that roe leaker must be sent to jail. We all know they know we did it idc how high or low their status. A return must be at least made and attempt at returning to we all face justice for our crimes. This criminal put many peoples lives in risk in a bid to upset midterms and coerce the court

Wow, that guy's views on baby killing must have really evolved since the Old Testament. Downright Obama-esque.

You are saying abortion wont be an issue this year because polling 8 months out shows Trump winning among blacks and hispanics?
