The signature doesn't match part will be just like the hanging chads in the 2000 election. Legal battle after legal battle until the supreme court has to step in.

Apparently it’s real and Philly leaderships is really concerned about their low education voters that lack basic reading comprehension skills.

It will go to the Supreme Court it's absolutely ridiculous you can literally have someone sign for someone else and frick up their signature and that's all out the door. The must accept the ballot.

That literally invites Fraud.

If they allow that person a chance to come in to verify it's them and sign accordingly again in person I'm all for that.

By insuring that I cannot read your ballot through the outer envelope, I cannot therefore throw away 3 out of 4 ballots for the dude I dislike.

Suppose I am nefarious and I hold the envelopes up to the light. I want Biden to win...so, I "lose" most of the ones I can see are voting Trump and/or Republican.

That is correct except PA courts just threw out the whole signature doesn't match part.
I may have misread, but IIRC the ruling was the questionable ballot would have to be confirmed by the voter.

This is the kind of thing that will end up in court.

Democrats will argue that it is wrong to disenfranchise voters on a technicality in the midst of a global pandemic where people are afraid and unfamiliar with the procedures. All votes must be counted!

The law be damned.

Unfortunately, there will be TDS infected judges that will allow the counting of these ballots.

Dems are freaking out because it could invalidate 30-40% of the mail in votes and 40-50k votes in Philly alone.

They're freaking out because they don't have time to produce a meaningful number of counterfeit envelopes.

Just imagine being so unintelligent that your own political party went to court and argued for you to be declared incapable of mailing your ballot in the provided envelope.

I've voted absentee a few times in Florida. The secrecy folder is where you put your ballot when you're done with it and there's a signature space on the outside. You then put the whole thing in the return envelope and mail it. It hides how you voted and the first thing the counting folks see is your signature. No signature = goes in the trash. It has big text all over it, including the statute in the state's law, that says if your ballot is not signed it will not be counted.

Doesn't it also come postage paid, or no postage required as well? So, using these envelopes would help their base, because they will not need to make a trip to the post office, purchase a stamp, or make sure the stamp is on correctly.

This is a thing. I actually fired an admin because she did not know how to address & stamp an envelope She was in her early 40s.

Yea the mail-in ballots have to come postage paid or no postage required.

One would think so. But apparently even simply requiring that the voter follow directions and use the provided return is too burdensome for some people.

Thankfully the PA SC did not buy that nonsense.

If they are incapable of getting a free ID of course they are too stupid to follow mailing instructions. Getting a free ID amounts to bringing a piece of mail received and an EBT card.

Doesn’t change anything.

PA will send out these ballots to all registered voters right?

Apparently following the rules tend to disenfranchise certain voters...

But when interviewed in the hood, all the black folk say they have a drivers license and dey vote at polling precincts and don't have any problems voting. This is all more made up nonsense by the left.

Voting laws doesn’t disenfranchise anyone. They just make the Democrat fraud machine irrelevant. I’d be curious to see how elections would turn out if we had absentee voting for military, diplomats and people over 75 yrs old only, and no early voting. Same day, in person voting with ID required.

So the good news about the secrecy envelop is you can't tell if it's a GOP or Dem ballot in the envelop, right?

So the postal workers can't "lose" the GOP envelopes, right?
