I don't think a murder conviction is as sure of a thing as a lot of posters here seem to think it will be. I don't trust the jury.

If he is acquitted, I will just shake my head and move on.

But I'm afraid there will be a number of posters here who will completely lose their shite.

The poli board will stay bumping until 7pm then everyone will go to bed and go back to work and that’ll be the end of it.

There won’t be country wide protests, shite there won’t be international protests like there were when Kang Floyd overdosed. There won’t even be any shoe stores looted or gas stations burned down. Just back to work.

If this murdering little dip-shite isn't the poster child for legalized abortions, I don't know what is. If he walks free, I will get a little voodoo doll and stick pins in it every day, hoping that he has a very short life.

All you can do is rely on our system. It’s not perfect but it’s the best way to do it.

Or you could take the Trump approach and blame judges when the rule of law isn’t always in your favor.

What is the defenses argument that this isn’t murder? Self defense from what?

He was in a different schools tent and stabbed the kid. That means he went somewhere that he wasn’t welcomed WITH the weapon. Why is he carrying a knife around at a track meet, and then stabbed a kid to death.

Admittedly this is about all I know of the situation so what else is out there that would provoke a kid to stab another kid? Did he call him a nagger which justifies murder?

It would be a travesty. And a huge erosion of public trust in our institutions.

The kid brought knife to a high school track meet and intended to use it. He took the first chance available to use the weapon and quickly killed someone. He is a thug POS, low IQ and impulse control drain on society. He deserves to rot in prison, not be let free.

I'd call a spade a spade, no pun intended.
He murdered the white kid. Only one of em had a weapon. It's simple.
How can someone claim they felt their life was threatened by an unarmed high school kid at a track meet, and the murderer is the who brought a knife!

What need does a high school track athlete have for a knife at a track meet?

I don't expect him to be convicted... so I'll be sad for Metcalf's family and friends, but not surprised.

Brings weapon to a weapon free zone on school property during a school event.

Is on camera stabbing someone, running away, and then flat out admits that he stabbed someone. That someone dies.

If that isn’t a sure thing, nothing is.

This little shite bird if acquitted will end up dead sooner than later. Prison may save his sorry life actually!

Wow. That didn't occur to me till you posted it.
They gonna go easy on him then say "we'll, the jury was all white."
