Things that won’t happen. No neighborhoods will burn. No Autozones, Walgreens, or Circle K looted. No Wendy’s burned to the ground. No random truck drivers pulled from their trucks and beaten to near death. But then again, we’re not a bunch of Foxtrot Novembers (Feral Negroids).

Why?
Juror intimidation, fear of fallout, especially in light of the Chow case.
Also, I think having no black people on the jury probably puts a special burden on the jurors to err on the side of anti-racism.
I don't *agree* with any of that... and hope I'm absolutely wrong- but I do think this jury will be affected by more than just the facts presented.

Can you define that a bit better?
I personally don't have time or ambition to set buildings on fire.

How many cops were at the track meet?
My experience is these sporting events have tons of cops and security, not including school staff.
Claims of self defense are hollow because of that, among many other reasons.

Stand your ground doesn’t apply here. If it did then you could stand your ground in someone else’s house while you steal their stuff….

What are your New Orleans slip and fall clients saying?

The reporters that have seen it have posted on X that it is from across the field, pixilated to bits and that the tent itself shields a lot of the action.

What is the defenses argument that this isn’t murder? Self defense from what?
I don't know what their argument is, but they have one, otherwise there would not have been a trial. They would have plead down to a lesser charge if they did not believe they could mount a successful defense.
The burden of proof for murder / death penalty is on the prosecution. All the defense has to do is to convince one juror that there is reasonable doubt.

This isn’t Reddit and we aren’t democrats.
There’s no factual basis for self defense in this case. Karmelo should take a plea.

Ain’t happening in Texas
This isn’t California or NYC.
There is a poster here who lives in Collin County - dallastiger55 I think - that said a couple of days ago that he thinks the makeup of the jury might be too liberal to get a death penalty murder conviction. Collin County has a high Indian (dot) population.

I'm going to post on a message board that I'll commit criminal acts if something states away from me and having nothing at all to do with my life doesn't go the way I think it should!!
Really? That's what you're expecting to see here?

They aren’t seeking the death penalty.

I do not think he will be convicted. All white jury or not, one or more will be a dip shite progressive and let him walk.
All 12 have to vote not guilty. That’s not happening. It’ll be called a mistrial and better believe they will try him again.
They can keep trying him until they find 12 jurors that render a guilty verdict.
