I don’t think it’s the voters . It’s the elites that want to go far left . It’s about having more control .

It absolutely is the voters, too.

They have all convinced each other that they are all “elites.”

The notion that any of them really are is what is seeming most preposterous.

And they don’t learn. The people of CA just voted to make the penalties for this kind of thing strong. A law newsome came out against. What’s he do in response to Trump winning?!??…he triples down with coming out saying he is going to fight against Trump to keep their lefty policies. Smfh.

This was one thing Trump was saying in his campaign vs Biden, they wanted to go radical left. I didn't know if I believed him but he was right.

This blows my mind. I was working for conservative groups exposing the Marxists on campus way back in 2005.

I wish I were able to be one of the ignorance is bliss in society.

Happens a lot. Look at Twitter before Musk. Maybe about 3-5% would start up cancel campaigns online.
It's the whole tyranny of the minority effect.Taleb has a whole YouTube video on it. Think of a classroom where 1 kid has a peanut allergy.

He has a chapter on it in one of my favorite books, “Skin in the Game.” Talks about kosher food.

It’s the political party that wants to move society, entities that are moving can never stop or they cease to exist. For example, the NAACP will never come out and announce racism is over and self dismantle, humans just don’t work like that. The Republican Party mission has just been to resist, so they aren’t on a trajectory of insanity.

Maybe someone can offer a better theory than me.

It’s literally Critical Race Theory. It’s bananas, but they believe it.

The left is organized around the principle of radical change. Going back 250 years:

- Get rid of kings and let citizens vote
- Make slavery illegal
- Let women vote
- Make homosexuality legal
- Make gay marriage legal

At some point they ran out of legitimate causes, but they still had the hell raising machine, and it had to be fed. So they invented a system of oppression to explain black underperformance, instead of blaming the addictive welfare system that trapped them; then they moved on to increasingly deviant sexuality.

They could have found other causes that were sane, but they were wedded to the savior causes, in which a clear, weak and pathetic victim needs their heroic help. So traditional left wing causes, like fighting evil big businesses (Pharma, Food, Tech), and helping out the working stiffs, are now championed by the Right.

Sure, they want to help the workers who are being displaced by immigrants, but they don’t want to do it in a fashion that allows the workers to help themselves - that would draw the satisfaction from the savior role. Instead, they want to rescue the worker by addicting him to daddy government. In that way, he is always there, eager for his government handout, and to the most cynical, available at election time to vote for his benefactors.

Useless frickers!

As usual, they project their wrongs on conservatives to hide their ways . . . You have now seen what “Project 2021” was all about.

Lack of parenting!!

Simple as that!!

When you don’t have a nucleus family (normal family) you create problem child’s that will not comply to the norm.

Then you have the sickos in hollyweird and entertainment pushing a narrative that goes against every fiber of normalcy and you get what we got.
Rebellion against the patriarchy.

Obama and his group of lefties (Soros obviously) started this by turning our culture, way of life, upside down and thru the internet and the use of cellphones, propagandize it and made it seem as if it was normal.

Blacks were already fricked, thanks to the incentives given to them to allow for men/dads not to be present and we have the shite show that we have today in the black culture/and society (so that took care of that one)

The old guard (Pelosi, Schmucky, etc) were drowned out by the talking heads of their own media. They soon felt like they had to ride the tiger they created before it turned on them.

It is shocking. The whole party is so deeply enveloped in a sea of BS that moderates cannot even find the surface. Here's a taste ....

THE NEW REPUBLIC

We Already Know One Big Loser in This Election: The Mainstream Media

by Parker Molloy
November 4, 2024

... For years, major news outlets have twisted themselves into knots trying to appease critics on the right. In the process, they’ve alienated not just the left but anyone who cares about honest, fearless journalism. This isn’t just about bad optics or bruised egos; it’s about the very foundation of our democracy and the essential role a free press plays within it.

It’s no secret that the right has long harbored disdain for mainstream media, branding it with terms like “fake news” and “enemy of the people.” But what’s new—and frankly alarming—is the mounting frustration from the center and left. These are readers who once defended these institutions, subscribed, donated, and championed the importance of a free press. Now they’re canceling subscriptions and voicing their disillusionment.

Jeff Jarvis captured this sentiment in his recent piece for the Columbia Journalism Review. He noted, “What is new and striking is the current wave of grievances regarding political coverage coming from once-devoted liberal readers as well as experienced journalists.” When your most loyal supporters start questioning your integrity, that’s not just a red flag—it’s a siren blaring in the newsroom.

By bending over backward to appease right-wing critics—who, let’s be honest, are unlikely to ever be satisfied—mainstream outlets risk alienating their core audience. These are the readers who’ve stuck with them through thick and thin, defended them against accusations of bias, and financially supported them in an era when journalism is under economic strain.

The Socialists have to destroy the old world before the new world can be built.

Much like Mao's Cultural Revolution.
