Trump is slightly left of Bill Clinton on social issues but in todays world that makes hm a conservative.
But he is far from a globalist. Nafta was the start of globalism.

Trump didn’t run at first to be a typical conservative.
I really think his more traditional conservative stances have been a direct response to how hard the left came after him.

I like Trump because he defunded USAID, is challenging title ix at universities, is dismantling DEI, overhauling long time regulatory issues like the definition of “waters of the united states” and environmental impact permits, prosecuting entitlement system fraud, and overhauling our immigration system by actually kicking illegals out and stemming H1B fraud.

Think about it. The hot topic on the board today is Trump brazenly promising to buy votes with taxpayer money.
Think about how the same MAGA people on this same board would have responded to the same proposal if Joe Biden had made it in 2022.
The response to the same policy would have been 180 opposite what it is since Trump is the one who proposed it.
Just like when Biden said in 2022 that he would use force to keep Iran from getting nukes and the board melted and claimed that he was obviously starting WWIII for profit, then cheered when Trump did the same thing.
It really is Schrödinger's MAGA.
