I never thought Trump was conservative.

I knew he was better than anything the marxist left will put on a ticket, and he still is.

I most certainly will. Compare his executive orders with the bills that have arrived on his desk.

He’s not a conservative but he’s light years better than the alternative.

If a bill lands on his desk, it's already received congressional approval. Your point is moot

MAGA is conservative in the sense that they want to limit immigration, limit the expansion of the welfare state, rollback DEI, appoint conservative judges, push for law enforcement, and maintain the Pax Americana.

Tariffs could be considered conservative.

They are off the conservative reservation when discussing fiscal limits and monetary policy, and they are rather liberal on social issues, although relative to the Democrats they are conservative on trannies.

So it’s a mixed bag but mostly conservative.

I've stated on this board many times that I voted for Clinton in 1996 and Trump's 2016 platform was about a speck to the right of that.

Goes to show two things:

BOTH parties have gone extreme left.

Meat sandwich is a dumpster fire, I don’t even think he knows what he believes or supports. I suspect he justifies his votes by arguing there is no difference between the two so what does it matter. It’s the “I am above it all” position most Libertarians try to take

Trump is moving America in a better direction than Cackle's platform suggested.
All else is secondary.

Mass deportations for every illegal alien

Congressional term limits

Legislation to omit non US citizens/illegals in calculating congressional apportionment

100% ban on members of congress trading stocks.

Severe penalties/fines for companies employing illegals.

Some realistic effort to rebalance academia with conservative teachers/professors

Some realistic and agreeable alternative to the Federal Reserve.

You did better at summing this up than I was doing reading this thread.

The only thing accomplished on that list is some deportations
