I think a lot of people are saying they'd rather 6 years of a bad (DEM) Senator than 24+ of a bad (GOP) Senator. Davis or Talarico will last one term and can be replaced in 2032. Letlow and Paxton would be shitty for decades

After six years of Dems controlling Congress and they have impeached Trump, expanded the SC, investigated every R alive do you think enough will left?

I don’t think anyone who votes conservative changed their mind with Paxton on the ticket. I don’t think many independents who lean right look at Tararico and say this is what we want either. There are a shite ton of refugees from other blue states who will vote for Talarico because they are retarded and most are so flush with cash they don’t care about how liberal policies affect the middle class.

I was not at all motivated to vote because of Paxton. I was motivated to vote because of Talrico...and not wanting that to be my voice. Additionally, it's obvious how much outside money is being dumped into this race to flip a seat in my state. I can't go 10 minutes without an unsolicited text or commercial. That is on top of the transplants from blue states who bring their bad voting habits with them.

We've seen what just 4 years of a really bad agenda can do. I'm not taking that risk to make a stance against a primary result.

And yet, the only group responsible for putting her where she is, and the only group responsible for getting soneone better and more qualified in the position she is in now was the Republicans of Louisiana.

Which Texas voters aren't voting for Paxton? My parents, both of my sisters and their husbands and their voting age children all voted for Paxton. The majority of my co-workers have already voted Paxton.

You really think there's a chance she would go further left than her current GE opponent?

That's not the question. It's how far she'd be left of a 2032, 2038, etc. Republican

I usually prefer addressing the current reality in elections versus some future hoped for hypothetical 6+ years down the road, but that's just me.

Who says they aren’t - besides pundits and push pollers?

I know. I was listening to a speech where Talarico talked about how he was checking out John Husted’s body and drooling over his arse. Wait, come to think of it, that wasn’t Talarico. Never mind.

Who was it?

Paxton isn’t a RINO. He’s a corrupted dbag but he’s not a RINO.

And I voted for him now 3X

Let's destroy our own country to send a message to politicians already wealthy enough to retire and will likely just move to an NGO, lobbyist, or media position.

That'll teach 'em.

It’s extremely important to not let Talarico get elected. Very important. It would be earth shattering to have the state of Texas elect this insane person. It would signal that years of illegal immigration & transplants from Blue States finally paid off in the victory the Left & the media have been desperately pushing for.

If the Texas GOP thought it were that important, they wouldn’t be running Paxton.

Try again pal.

Thought we were talking Texas with the Paxton stuff, but you are correct - apologies.

I do not think it is going to matter through, when you look at the last two election cycles. Apparently election day voting matters in your state
