Its about sending a message to GOP. Wake up or gtfo

The time for sending a message was the primary. Texas got rid of Cornyn that way, but just picked the wrong replacement. Do better in the 2032 primary. But trying to "send a message" in the general election by staying home is just going to screw yourself over for the next 6 years (at least) when you let Talarico win and he's voting in lock step with the democrats to block anything conservatives try to pass.....or worse, helping advance the democrat agenda if they win back the presidency in 2 years.

nothing changed, paxton will win. every few years democrats run some creepy guy and say 'this is the one'

besides, everything is psyopped to the max, republicans and democrats are friends behind closed doors, and polls are made up. just vote and put it out of your mind.

I don’t think anyone who votes conservative changed their mind with Paxton on the ticket. I don’t think many independents who lean right look at Tararico and say this is what we want either. There are a shite ton of refugees from other blue states who will vote for Talarico because they are retarded and most are so flush with cash they don’t care about how liberal policies affect the middle class.

The only things people seem to come up with, are a bunch of nonsense social issues, that doesn’t affect much of anything. It’s all about the economy and jobs. MAGA has proven to be unable to turn the economy around, and to help Americans. Republican Party needs to wake tf up. They don’t seem to understand the message.

i did. my wife did. most of my friends/neighbors did.

normal people in Texas can see Tallefreako for what he is. And the latest thing about him signing up for using his personal email address and being an active member on some pervert website confirms it.

She wasn’t better than Fleming. Stop whining you bundle of sticks. I was told you didn’t need anything but MAGA votes to win

I think a lot of people are saying they'd rather 6 years of a bad (DEM) Senator than 24+ of a bad (GOP) Senator. Davis or Talarico will last one term and can be replaced in 2032. Letlow and Paxton would be shitty for decades

In a general election? Certainly.

A vote for congressman or senator is never really anything about more than voting for a proxy. Why anyone gives two shits about anything else at that point is the most perplexing thing in the world to me.

I find it strange people think they’ll get their perfect candidate in politics.

It's especially odd in Senate elections. The Senators literally have one job - vote Yes for Republican bills and No for Democrat bills.

Letlow and Paxton will both be Yes votes for Republican bills, so who cares if you like them or not?

Paxton? Sure, for the most part.

Letlow has Susan Collins energy. When Trump and Landry are gone there is no telling how far left DEI Letlow goes.

You really think there's a chance she would go further left than her current GE opponent?

Who you voting for? Or you sitting this one out too because of muh principles?

Ask Georgia how that's working out. Warnock has already been re-elected once and Ossoff is up 7-8% in polling to get re-elected tomorrow.

Incumbents are always harder to beat, no matter the party. 6 years of a bad democrat senator can easily become 18 years.

well yeah, because his policies and views would reflect being a republican.

problem is they don't and he isn't. again, he may as well be a california democrat because he will vote with them 100% of the time.

that suits Louisiana very well tbh. all the more reason to vote for her over Davis. Maine is the Louisiana of the north

It is even more confusing when you compare the opponents. Davis is liberal but compared to Talrico the guy is right wing.

They can't. This should be a slam dunk but it's merely a precarious layup.

Trump letting Jeff Landry pick his candidate was the dumbest shite ever, but fortunately, there aren't enough apathetic stay-home non-votes to cost her the election.
