Lets look at Baton Rouge, Houston, Dallas, and Atlanta areas for example.
Baton Rouge, West Baton Rouge, Baker -> Democrat heavy, bad schools, high crime, mostly bad places to raise a family.
Central City, St Amant, Dutchtown -> Republican heavy, good schools, low crime, mostly ideal places to raise a family.
Houston, Missouri City, Alief -> Democrat heavy, bad schools, high crime, mostly bad places to raise a family.
The Woodlands, Conroe, Katy -> Republican heavy, good schools, low crime, mostly ideal places to raise a family.
Dallas, DeSoto, Duncanville -> Democrat heavy, bad schools, high crime, mostly bad places to raise a family.
Plano, Richardson, McKinney-> Republican heavy, good schools, low crime, mostly ideal places to raise a family.
Atlanta, South Fulton, College Park-> Democrat heavy, bad schools, high crime, mostly bad places to raise a family.
Peachtree City, Woodstock, Buford -> Republican heavy, good schools, low crime, mostly ideal places to raise a family.
There's a clear trend here. What type of mental illness is stopping them from accepting that democrat culture and policies are a cancer to strong and healthy societies. Everybody with a little sense living in democrat cities WANT to live in Republican cities if they could afford it.

Biggest reason by far. And now that abortion after birth is now a party plank, it will only get worse.
Vote better. Your kids lives depend on it.

West Baton Rouge and East Baton Rouge are polar opposites.

Baton Rouge has a Republican mayor and a majority Republican metro council.

Every political party is filled with narcissistic, self righteous crooks.

Democrats hate law and order, their lives are all chaos, racism, LBGT, fake outrage and crime.

I remember when the Republicans ran Dallas and the crime rate was much higher and the schools were much worse.

The only places around Birmingham that I see Democrat candidate signs are in the wealthy over the mountain neighborhoods where stay at home moms reside.

It's the same evil that drives Muslims, to destroy good.

The tribalism is getting to the point of silliness.

Emile "Sid" Edwards is an American politician and former high school football coach who has served as the mayor-president of Baton Rouge and East Baton Rouge Parish since January 2025. A member of the Republican Party, he defeated Democratic incumbent Sharon Weston Broome in the runoff of the 2024 Baton Rouge mayoral election, receiving 54 percent of the vote. He was the first Republican elected mayor-president since Bobby Simpson in 2000
Not sure about the city council.
Do you expect the republican mayor to overturn 25 years of failed democrat policies in less than 2 years? But don't worry, you represent the typical voter today. Logic and reason have no place in your decisions.
