Gas is $3.45 near me. folks are filling up their $60k SUVs. $8 coffee is being guzzled all over town. Stock market has roared. I don’t get it. We were kicking arse.

Historically, Americans have rewarded the party in power for bombing the Middle East.

We're at a point where everyone expects to have an increasingly high standard of living and pay little for it.

The Mexican restaurant in my insert upscale suburb in the south was full of people today. What’s the deal?

It's true. A vote against Republicans is a vote for failure.

And a damn good economy. Face it, we are moving down a socialist path.

It's not $3.45 everywhere in the U.S. One of the problems of this board is that everyone here only looks at gas prices in Louisiana, Texas, Arkansas, Mississippi and Alabama. Most of these areas are the lowest gas prices in the country.

Even here in Florida, I haven't seen $3.45 since before the Iran war. I was happy yesterday to fill up at $3.79, that's been the lowest in awhile. For the last 3 - 4 months it's typically been around $3.90-$4.40 here in Florida.

I do agree about everything else. People like to complain but the Starbucks line is always busy. Heck the McDonalds by me is always busy and look at their prices.
