I watched this last night.
I want to know how an illegal alien was admitted into a public Louisiana university. We need a major investigation into how that was allowed. Did John Bel tell the LSU admissions department to not require proof of state residency and citizenship???

I feel bad for her but there’s a whole point about “legal immigration” she seems to be glossing over.

They should have started with this sentence, and saved all the typing.

she does not have an H1B or a green card, she was not "hired" and ready to begin working as an RN.
The background check for RN licensure (after you pass the NCLEX which you also need to have LEGAL status to sit for) includes both state and Federal checks of not only criminal and civil but the validity of your SSN which is directly connected to your "status" as being in the US which is either Legal or Not legal. Curious as to what paperwork she has been using both to get into school, sit for the NCLEX, student loans if applicable(Federal loan application would have picked this up)..etc., etc.,
so a state trooper at some random brake tag issuing vendor just randomly checked her ID...yeah..OK
the more plaussible story is she got stopped for some traffic violation and when they ran her name they found out she was wanted on an Order of removal because she missed her hearing in immigration court, which she probably missed because she knew she would be removed because she was here...illegally..

Palacios says she was in the process of renewing her brake tag in South Louisiana when a Louisiana State Trooper ran her identification.

She may have had fake documents that the school did not verify which I dont know is common at the admissions level or at the time she applied, her status was good but changed when she skipped her immigration status hearing (likely) ..but what IS common is both criminal and civil checks at the state and federal level prior to getting an RN license (they did not say she had one, prob. didnt) but that check would have prevented her from getting a license..
this is straight from LSU admissions:
Admissions Process: Undocumented students apply to LSU using the same Common Application process as other students.
Tuition: They are responsible for paying the full out-of-state tuition and fees unless they qualify for one of the specific, limited exceptions for residency (which typically do not apply to undocumented status).
Financial Aid: Undocumented students do not qualify for federal financial aid programs. Some states offer their own state-level aid, but Louisiana does not have such a policy.
Immigration Documents: Students requiring specific immigration documents, such as an I-20 or DS-2019 form for an F-1 or J-1 student visa, must meet separate international student requirements and provide proof of financial support to the LSU International Services Office. This typically means a student must have a valid visa status to be issued these documents.

Honduras and Nicaragua have had asylum status for at least 8 or 9 years. The drug gangs down their have overwhelmed police and kidnapping and gang violence are rampant.
So that means we bring in the dregs of the entire world? Look at the countries with temporary protection society, its a whos who of the shittiest gene pool in the world, full of dirtbags......Minnesota is a prime example.

I bet Honduras needs nurses pretty badly. She has an opportunity to serve her home country. The main reason she became a nurse
