He was not mistakenly deported. A letter lawyer intentional filed or paperwork incorrectly making it seemed like he was mistakenly deported.

Serious question: when you take the time to actually dig up a statute in question and explain your interpretation of it, do you EVER get thanked for that? Not so much for approbation, but just acknowledgement of the attempt at intellectual honesty?
I ask that because I am trying to save myself time. When people ask, "how could Steven Miller be wrong in his interpretation?"... I take the time to dig up the Presidential Proclamations, show how it's a necessary predicate to invocation of the Alien Enemies Act, point out that no such Proclamation has been issued re MS-13...and get crickets.
As to legal matters, is this just a don't cast your pearls before swine kind of deal?
I'm not looking for agreement on this board. I enjoy honest, good faith disagreement. Maybe I’m wrong? Instead, I mostly get personal attacks for wrongthink without any ACTUAL discussion.

That’s an unfortunate assertion that in my view immediately shuts down the possibility of a rational and productive discussion. Maybe it’s the kind of situational assertion that you wouldn’t always make but for the heat of the moment. Essentially it’s as preposterous as the very assertion that you are a commie libtard. You either will rise above that category of exaggerated rhetoric and see it for the ultimately inconsequential incoherent noise that it is, or you’ll simply be part of that noise. Everyone with a law degree who has taken a position under oath or threat of sanctions under FRCP 11 on this matter agrees that it was a violation of the law to deport Abrego Garcia to El Salvador. EVERY judge or justice (of whatever party) has agreed that it was illegal.
Is Abrego Garcia a wife beating, gang member, illegal alien whom the Trump immigration people should have deported in 2019? Yes. Does that change the legal analysis. No.
