lol on believing a political promise.
There is nothing Trump or any president can do about inflation, as the govt doesn’t control monetary policy.
Wow. This is a special statement here. Our government is the main reason we're in this predicament. Both under Biden and Trump. We can't carry $2T deficits and expect the dollar not to tank. Wages cannot keep up with the out of control spending. The most frustrating part is most of this can be fixed but there is literally no effort to do so.

My doctor disagrees with you. I'm 5-8 and weighed in at 132 today at the gym. I work out at that gym 5 days a week for 2 hours. My doctor says my blood is perfect and I take zero meds. No high blood pressure, no high cholesterol. My wife is on my diet and she's 5-7, 120 lbs. and runs 15 miles every other day. If I ate 3 meals a day I'd be a fat arse like you.
Bro lmao, you are very underweight. But congrats on the metrics. I also have none of those ailments at 5’9, 165 lbs and also lift 5 times per week.
Your doctor took one class on nutrition in med school and doesn’t know shite about it.

I use a lot of diesel and a good amount of gasoline.
I have a diesel truck and 2 diesel tractors. I don't plan on using either tractor for quite a while, just the bare minimum. My diesel truck won't move unless I need to tow my big gooseneck trailer or my 5th wheel camper.
For my wife and I we also have 3 gas vehicles (2 are gas 1/2 tons), a center console boat, a 4 wheeler and a side by side I use on my land as well. And the normal shite like ztr mower, etc.
I'm actually hooking up my diesel truck to my 5th wheel this morning and towing it to the lake and going to burn a lot of gas fishing every day for the next 2 weeks. It's definitely going to be a more expensive late summer getaway than normal, but those fish don't catch themselves.

I get some drive a lot every week, but gas isn't the biggest inflation factor the past few years.
Insurance and Groceries
BTW, groceries have already started to take price increases again. You can't reverse once it's in place. Too costly. I think Hersheys has taken 6 in 3 years.
There needs to be bigger beautiful bill to help people cover this inflation.

I also weighed 165 when I was lifting heavy and getting muscular in my 40s. But I've got some serious advice for you. As you age into 60s and 70s you will lose muscle mass. If you try to keep it you will gain weight and increase fat. That will hurt cardio. As you get old you better plan on losing weight to prevent fat content. Good health to ya!

Trump has failed bigly on curbing inflation.
Then what do you call the time under Democrats since inflation was higher?

Wages have outpaced inflation under Trump.
And with the stock market gains since Trump first entered office, I will be able to retire early.

What is the inflation rate now?

Gasoline is up but groceries are down in my hometown - call it a wash.
But then my grocer has this really great feature.........fuel points. I've realized as much as 50 cents off the price of a gallon of gasoline from accumulated fuel points in a month.
I like my hometown. And hate America if you choose, I love it.

I think what most people fail to recognize is the statement made by the Fed having to raise the Fed Rate to control inflation. Raising the FED rate only happens when the economy needs to be slowed down and that is a huge statement about the economy with the fact that prices are up.
What gives? Higher wages! People have higher wages to offset the higher prices. No, we do not like the higher prices and the real fear is that the longer they remain the harder it is to bring them back to what we feel is reasonable.
So the choice is really, do you appreciate the jobs and money flowing now or did you like the 8% inflation and stagnant economy the democrats bragged as being good under Biden and the socialists?

Oil companies and refiners do not set retail prices at most stations. About 90% of the price is already locked in before the fuel even reaches the station
