The cost of Iran war (thus far) is about $38 billion.
Its important to keep things in context before we go hysterical or else we end up looking like hypocrites for championing the expenditures that are 50 times bigger than the ones we are protesting.

He really hasn't. If it wasn't for that stupid war in Iran, Trump 2 would be competing with Trump 1, which was very good until COVID F'd us.
ETA: Remember that Obama's second term had slow economic growth. GDP growth was under 3% 2 of those 4 years so of course inflation was also low.

Showing a graph that has just 20 months of "cumulative" (blue) data vs. 48 months for everyone else is....misleading to say the least
3.4% is way above everyone else annualized outside of covid years
Trump has failed massively to get inflation under control and gas prices are most evident on that when this is the stuff he literally ran on to get under control
Mortgage rates have soared back to 7% now after dropping under 6% earlier this year
The economy is getting in a worse and worse spot by the day this ongoing "conflict" keeps going on

Congrats on measuring inflation from last year to now. Groceries alone are +26% since 2020. Total inflation since 2020 is up 25-29%. Republicans and Democrats are both responsible.

the same people complaining about "inflation" (really they are complaining about high prices) are the same complaining about the cure. You want lower housing prices? Increase the cost of borrowing money and the cost of homes will go down. Lower college tuition costs? Stop giving out student loans. Yes this hurts middle class and poor people. According to basic principals of supply/demand there is no other way to address the prices.
In order for prices to actually drop, you need to go through deflationary pain. Which means, reduction of demand for goods and services. In order for that to happen there must be people who can longer afford stuff. This is the problem, Democrats scream when the solutions are implemented.
The cost of gas is the result of an artificial decrease in supply because of a chokehold in the M.E. As soon as that is resolved, the cost of gas will plummet quickly if the gov't doesn't do something stupid and start pumping money to the consumer for political reasons.

Gas price, OK Trump’s hand is on that.
