Then you would have no one to lower the cost for you and you’d go bankrupt later in life with all your medical issues. ...
I mean they’re charging at least double or more their actual cost so technically 50% profit or higher. In some cases I think it’s even higher than 50%. If they send me an emergency room bill for $10,000, then I would bet their true costs are a good bit less than $5,000. ...
Insurers pay less because it costs nowhere near what they charge to provide the service. Insurers have purchasing power and negotiate a rate where the medical provider still profits but not at a 100% margin or greater. Again it just shows they are screwing you. I remember when our first child was bo...
insurance doesn't pay this amount though.
Then why charge that amount? It tells me you’re trying to f**k me. ...
Homes are significantly overpriced ...
Although I don’t do it, I can understand why people would. It’s because the idiot in the F250 still drives 80 mph even though he can’t see 10 yards in front of his truck. ...

re: Stefon Diggs to the Texans

I don’t get it. There’s tons of WR talent in this draft and Diggs is on the back end of his career. Terrible trade. ...
I mean I wouldn’t be surprised at all if a large number of the population is intermittent fasting without trying. I mean to say someone only eats say between 11AM and 7PM wouldn’t be crazy. Many people don’t eat breakfast for lack of time to do so. ...
Yes mine is $300 a month. More than electricity the last 4 months. Just dumb. We’re a family of four and use no more water than anyone else. I don’t have a leak either. It’s ridiculous. ...

Attic Fan experience

Posted by CDUBTX on 2/29/24 at 5:15 am
Looking for anyone that has installed a solar powered attic fan. We’re replacing ductwork and one of our units and the tech mentioned this fan. Supposedly it just helps suck the hot air out of the attic. Just curious if it really works. ...
I think it depends on what you buy. We have a family of four and spend probably $3k plus. We buy only organic fruits and vegetables so that makes a difference. We don’t buy what most would call easy meals. It’s fresh ingredients and meats etc. That number also includes dish and laundry detergents an...
It is a horrible format. Which is why no matter how many big names they poach, it’ll never compare. It’s just a horrible product
Exactly. I’ve tried to watch it several times and it’s just garbage. It’s like watching a scramble at my local course with really good players. No one r...

re: Insurance Expense

Posted by CDUBTX on 1/26/24 at 7:25 pm
Let’s say I charge you $10k a year to insure 2 vehicles. I have expenses as well so technically I don’t have $10k to pay for a claim. My expenses cost me about $4k on that $10k. You get in an accident and they call Gordon. Maybe it’s a bullshite claim but my choice is to either pay some a-hole $100k...
Oh yea no problems with vaccines at all. I mean our government hasn’t paid billions to those with vaccine injuries. They like to show these minuscule numbers as far as cases but the dollar amounts say otherwise. And that’s what they show us. I have no clue whether vaccines cause autism but they don’...
I'd like to see Savion Jones bulk up just a bit and move inside to DT. Seems the kid has strength but lacks the twitch to play end, so maybe his future is there.
Agreed. He needs to put on weight and try to maintain the speed he has. ...
agreed. It wasn't very good. Good moments but overall not very good. His Killin Them Softly is the best I think. ...
The bowls could be so much better. The fact that Alabama and Michigan have only played five times tells you all you Ned to know. There are a ton of matchups people would watch but they fail every year. Once the twelve team playoff stats they need to just put an end to the rest of the bowl games. ...
Nah, inflation is slowing down…just not to 2% yet.
Let’s say it gets to 2% or even lower. What about the current price levels do you think are sustainable? Wages have nowhere near kept up with inflation. For the most part, wages have increased for the lower sector or entry level...

re: What Has Happened To The NBA?

Posted by CDUBTX on 12/10/23 at 7:32 am
I don’t understand anyone watching this trash. You got seven footers that take three steps and they don’t play near the level of defense they did in the 80s and 90s. The players are certainly talented but the rules have changed the game. Watching an old Bulls game or Celtics vs Lakers matchup is jus...

re: What has been your worst investment?

Same here except much higher buy in for me. I really don't get it. There are other LNG facilities that have been able to get off the ground and the need is still there. I think either everyone hates Souki or he's being blackballed by Cheniere. Either way I've lost my tail on this one....
