No, you're wrong. Majority of the population is in the big cities, and the big cities are all leftist enclaves.

Skimmed the responses, and didn't see anyone highlight this point, which I find the most surprising in the article:

quote:

Currently, 87% of Gen Z and 62% of millennials cannot afford to purchase homes.

9 out of 10 Gen Z cannot afford a home?
Seem like a misprint to anyone?

I have 2 children in daycare and that alone cost me $2400/month and that’s on the low end of the market

You’re preaching to the choir. We’ve paid for daycare for 7 of the last 8 years and our youngest isn’t even one yet. We had two in daycare for two of those years.

The fine print is that they can’t afford a median home, which is $420k.

The article had merit until I read this and the whole argument fell apart instantly.

But you should be happy for all the savvy investors out there

Look, I bought my house 2020 and got it out pure luck. Nowadays, there is no chance I could secure this place for my family. Something is mad off bro

Same for me.

These young adults were schooled with doom and gloom, oppression BS, purposely denied American Optimism as a value... saddled with "necessary" student debt... no wonder they feel hopeless. It was ingrained in them.

Climate change and conflict don't have squat to do with it other than whatever brainwashing fear mongering they absorbed in K12.

This is a popular theory being advanced to try to explain why young people have the worst mental health with the most mental health interventions.

And we may be experiencing a preacher speaking to the choir. And I don't think we just accept the premise of a salty boomer before diving into the discussion. And you seem way too emotional for me to trust your thoughts on this.

I think this is a bigger deal than most think. But it's tough to pinpoint the "why's" and how to solve the problem.

I believe this issue is one reason why so many Muslims are so easily radicalized... and they have very different reasons for having fewer females available to them to start families with. But that's a whole other thread lol.
