My summation of this thread and the problem with society as a whole…
It’s always someone else’s fault, I’m a victim mentality.
And as if the generations that lived though the Great Depression, World War 2, Korean War, Vietnam, Civil Rights movement, gas shortages, Jimmy Carter inflation and the great malaise, Cold War tensions (duck and cover lol), Cuban Missile Crisis, Boycotted Olympics in 80 and 84, 1st Gulf War, Russian invasion of Afghanistan, Latchkey kids, etc was nothing compared to the current economic/global environment and muh climate change.
Ps. Luckily I was too young to remember/be aware, but anyone who lived through Disco deserves a medal.

Everything gen x and boomers paid peanuts for costs a frickin fortune now, from housing to college education, to vehicles, they’ve all outpaced normal inflation exponentially. I’m a fan of work hard and make your own luck but there’s some truth to the OP.

Does the high number of deranged liberals not concern you?
Housing costs are too high.
College costs are too high.
AI is going to make a lot of people unemployed or underemployed.
Social media is a mental cancer.

I wonder if Genz and Millenials pulled there head out their ace and voted for their own interest instead of some radical fairy tails sold by commies if things might change? Those generations are huge/ big voting blocks. GENX can't change crap alone, we are a small generation of people.
Hold politicians accountable. Get rid of any kind of Visas for foreign workers would be a huge start to improve things for their generations. But that would just be a start. Dont listen to anyone with radical agendas left or right...Get politicians in office with common sense, willing to put American Citizens and country first, and pray they don't get corrupted...

Pretending like only your generation ever experienced any hardships is absurd.

We aren’t geared up for that level of unity though. This may be the most isolated ppl have felt in some time

Mad respect for you and your generation for living through such horrible shite like Y2K. You are right, nobody - today or yesterday - has experienced the pain and hardship Millennials have.
Hang in there, guys. You've had it so excruciatingly bad, it can only get better.

Is this really what that graph demonstrates?

I never will understand this website and especially this board
99.9% of the time it’s all complaining “America has gone to shite” “inflations is killing people” “American dream is dead” etc etc
But when someone makes the obvious true statement young kids have it worse because of the above which everyone here constantly states as facts, all of a sudden American is stronger, better, and easier than ever

The future is bleak when accounting for housing costs, liberals and AI
I think the housing market over the next two decades is going to be wild. From 100% swings upwards in some locations to 50% or more downward in others. And yes politics/demographics will be the driving forces.

lol, you really do believe that, don’t you?
You are out of your mind.

Even in the face of objective data, they just ignore it and press repeat again.

Again, what you fail to acknowledge, even with me pointing it out directly, is that you COULD do that in the past without the consequences of today.
The same with how median housing is unaffordable for median salaries.
In both scenarios you can try to do the "you could rough it out", but even then, it's not equivalent. The "roughing it out" costs are higher today than the "roughing it out" costs in the past. Both are still vastly more expensive today compared to median salary than in the past.

Your understanding of college tuition costs is beyond dispute. You have no idea what you’re talking about.
But you’ve been drafted to fight a war, so I should probably give you a pass.

This is hopeium. Believe me, no one has thrived on it more than me.
But he gave you objective facts and you were reduced to a bunch of embarrassing fallacies.
