Congressional negotiators revealed Monday evening that they've reached "an agreement in principle" on border security funding that includes $1.3 billion for President Trump's long-promised wall along the U.S.-Mexico border, much less than the $5.7 billion the White House has requested.

Yeah, this isn't going to end well for those hoping that a 2nd partial shutdown won't happen. This isn't a deal, it's a joke.

Lindsey Graham made a statement on Tucker... he said four billion dollars had been allocated from the Department of Defense to Homeland Security and that Trump could designate for the wall

Border deal includes $1.375 billion for physical barriers, but no funding for a wall, per a source. It also reduces overall ICE detention beds by 17.4 percent - to 40,520.

More info on barrier, per a congressional source:

• Prohibitions on use of concrete wall or other Trump Wall prototypes. Only “existing technologies” for border barriers can be built– the same things that were built before President Trump.

Nope. Get that shite outta here.

If that's true we would have:
1.3b from 2018
1.3b from 2019
4b from homeland security

If that's true take the deal and start construction.

The only catch would be that the 4b from homeland security better really be clean and able to go to the wall

Also the bill better not restrict the type of wall.

Honey, not if there's money in other departments' budgets that's ours to use at our discretion.

Its already reported that's its funding for a "fence" not a wall as Trump proposed.

That’s strangely petty and ridiculous. Time to tell them to pound sand.
